The Keys to the Sea Kingdom: msg#00021culture.templar.rosemont
The Keys to the Sea Kingdom Melicertes-Janus-Portunus apear to be the same person.....the holder of the keys and the opener of doors and ports. In two days I will be leaving on a train for Monterey Calfifornia where there is going to be held in Superior Court a hearing on the probate of my later sister, the world famous artist Christine Rosamond. Before a Superior Court Judge I will be making the argument of my life as to why and how my families Artistis and Literary Legacy came to be owned by outsiders. This legacy was began by my grandfather, Royal Rosamond, who owned the genral store in Ventura by the Sea. His father was William Rosamond, his mother Ida Louisiana Rose the alleged daughter of Sir Issac Hall one of the Captians of the Constitution. He married Mary Magdalene Wieneke and had four beautiful daughters; June, Bertha (Bonnie), Rosemary, and Lillian. Rosemary Rosamond was my mother. She was in the Waves decoding Russian communications during WW2. She married Victor Presco an officer in the Merchant Marines. My family loved the sea until Christine drowned in the ocean near Carmel by the Sea. I will be proving to this judge that all the accounts of my sister's death, are lies. I believe I have opened the door to a Kingdom long silenced, and all but disapeared. Here is the Key to the Kingdom of the Sea. All ports are now open to you, especially in a storm. Jon Presco http://melicertes.wikiverse.org/ http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com/Palaemon http://www.theosophy-nw.org/theosnw/world/med/me-gfk4.htm "Janus was the god of the gates,....But not only was he the god of the gate, he was the gate itself: he and those stones were one, and from that gate he could preside over all the gates, all the doors of the buildings in Rome." Pg. 18 Roman Mythology by Stewart Perowne In this view he would be the ultimate household god! Within this group would be Hestia/Vesia for hearth and prosperity, Hermes - guarding the doorway and bringing good luck, Lares-spirits of the household and farm boundaries, Penates-spirits who guarded the storehouse, and numerous others that watched over such things like the childs' birth and first steps, marriage, quarrels, brooms, axe, mortar, etc. Basically prior to the Romans' forming into the huge important power house with state sponsored gods and goddesses, they were watched over by individual gods, goddesses, and spirits in their everyday needs. These rustic gods survived in legends and those that had the most important roles made it to the big leagues of state sponsored gods.....JANUS is one of these. Janus- from Jana root for dius or dium meaning luminous sky.... He was orginally a solar divinity....but root of the word for public gates-jani - hints that his roles changed to that of protector of gates. "His insignia were thus the key which opens and closes the door, and the stick (virga) which porters employed to drive away those who had no right to cross the threshold." pg 200 Larousse Encyclopedia of Mythology He was also given the name Portunus as he covered both depatures and return, navigation, and that of communication. As Matutinus Pater, he was the solar god presiding over daybreak. And as Janus Pater, he was the god of gods, creation of the world from him that was Chaos. His popularity placed him at the head of religious ceremonies and the first to worshipped on the first day of the new year. These ceremonies date back to the start of Rome by Romulus or by Numa. http://22.1911encyclopedia.org/P/PO/PORTUNUS.htm http://itsa.ucsf.edu/~snlrc/encyclopaedia_romana/romanurbs/portunus.h tml SERIES: JANUS: The Return Of The "God" Of New Beginnings Part 7: JANUS: The God Of Harbors And Inventor Of Navigation By Ed Tarkowski JANUS: The "God" Of Harbors And Navigation One symbol that applies to both this end-time pope and Janus is the prophecy of the Catholic St. John Bosco. Of Janus, it is said, "Being god of the gates he was naturally the god of departure and return and, by extension, the god of all means of communication. Under the name Portunus he was the god of harbours; and since travel can be either by land or sea, he was supposed to have invented navigation" (GODS OF THE STATE: PRINCIPAL DIVINITIES, Janus, New Larousse Encyclopedia Of Mythology, Introduction By Robert Graves, Roman, pp. 200-202). "We posses no statue or bust of Janus, but on coins his effigies are numerous. The oldest bronze Romans coins had the effigy of Janus on one side and THE PROW OF A BOAT on the reverse" http://melicertes.wikiverse.org/ http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionary.com/Palaemon ------------------------ Yahoo!
