Re: studies of public sphere and radical democracy?: msg#00048culture.studies.general
I'm teaching Habermas's _Structural Transformation of the Public Sphere_ and Laclau and Mouffe's _Hegemony and Socialist Strategy_ to graduate students next semester. In each case I need a text that applies the theory. For instance, with the Habermas I used to teach Felski's _Beyond Feminist Aesthetics_, but now it is out of print. Books on 20th century/ contemporary social movements would be ideal, but I would be grateful for all suggestions.
