Michele, and everyone else on this list--I appreciate finding out about new resources, but are we doing our students a favor by "giving" them resources rather than teaching them to find them on their own (especially for the easy searches?)

Just wondering, anyways here are some ...

Hi everyone,

Thanks as always to the many people on the list who
are willing to share your expertise -- I really appreciate
this resource!

I have a student interested in working on advertising
campaigns like 'adbusters' or 'truth.com' that try to turn
advertising against capitalism, or toward socially
progressive causes.

Does anyone know of any work that has already been
done on this topic? He's looking to put together a
bibliography. Primary sources or examples of such

campaigns are great, but he's really looking for cultural
studies criticism about this phenomenon.

Thanks in advance, again,
Michele
