looking for criticism on anti-corp ad campaigns: msg#00040culture.studies.general
Hi everyone, Thanks as always to the many people on the list who are willing to share your expertise -- I really appreciate this resource! I have a student interested in working on advertising campaigns like 'adbusters' or 'truth.com' that try to turn advertising against capitalism, or toward socially progressive causes. Does anyone know of any work that has already been done on this topic? He's looking to put together a bibliography. Primary sources or examples of such campaigns are great, but he's really looking for cultural studies criticism about this phenomenon. Thanks in advance, again, Michele Michele Janette Kansas State University mjanette@xxxxxxx --- You are currently subscribed to cultstud-l as: gcsg-cultstud-l@xxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send a blank email to leave-cultstud-l-144941Q@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx The FAQ: http://www.cas.usf.edu/communication/rodman/cultstud/faq.html |
