A tamei species, no. Lo sevasheil gedi requires that it be ke'ein haperat, which thus only includes beheimos tehoros. And unlike chayos and ofos, there was no subsequent gezeirah prohibiting eating temei'os bechalav. What that means is that despite the best attempts of our "kosher style" brothers, they are technically better off eating a ham cheeseburger than one made of beef. Basar bechalav, being assur behanaah, is worse. This came up lehalakhah, as I know someone who had to have pork daily by doctor's orders.
