EAST BENGAL CHAMPION CLUB OF INDIA: Brazilian Douglas da Silva scored a 
brace to help East Bengal rout Vasco Sports Club, Goa, 4-0 to win the Oil 
PSU National Football League at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.

The above explains it all. Friends assured me that this would be Vasco's
year, but sadly this was not to be. However it is pretty good to note that 2
teams from Goa made the top 3. WELL DONE TO BOTH.  Shame to Churchill and
Dempo, what happened to all that promise from a few years ago? Once again I
shall refrain from over excessive celebrations and save it all for when
Churchill finally make it (I am sorry but I cannot be neutral on this).
Well done to all the players though and I'm really looking forward to
spending some very pleasant time at Fatoda stadium during my next trip,
supporting all the home sides.
