I have just received a call from Lourdino Rodrigues, the producer.
They had a committee meeting over the weekend which resulted in a decision
to postpone the Tiatr until further notice.

The recent problems with S.A.R.S. made it difficult to hold rehearsals, and
posed unacceptable risks for the performance itself.

On stage live Konkani Tiatr is a distinct feature of Goan Culture and cannot
be substituted through film,  video, or TV.  Hopefully better times are
ahead.
