Dear Saligaonkars
Its very sad to hear that our saligaonkar Mario Gonsalves expired on 
Saturday. The funeral will be on Tuesday. I remember him when he was in Goa. 
Nice boy and it is pity that he had to pass away at the very young age.
The heat is too much and all the saligaonkars in Goa are anxiously waiting 
for the rains. Its pity we cannot go to Calangute as the place is no more 
the same what it was before. I remember when I visited Calangute it was 
looking like a cemetry after 7 pm. No lights excepts the high mast lights 
which is not show any contrast at all. no band to shake our legs and hips, 
no bajas too. One will see only the people with suit and boot and that too 
before the sunset they try to dissappear. The tourism department is not all 
interested in developing calangute for people like me and you.
