Benny XI in quarters

PANAJI: Benny XI Mapusa edged out Saligao Sporting Club 7-5 via the
tie-breaker to move into the quarter-finals of the Ramakant Pande Soccer
at Saligao. Teams were tied 2-2 at final time. Uday Naik scored a brace
for Saligao, while Mahesh Kambli and Oswin struck for Benny in regular
time. In the tie-breaker, Bonnie, Oswin, Simon, Francis and Kambli
netted for Benny XI, while Miskin, Allan and Jude found the mark for
Saligao (Navhind Times, May 13, 2006)
