Next week we will all be busy with our Christmas preparation. Some will like 
to make the crib, star, and sweets. The modern generation are contented with 
what ever they get ready made in the market and even the star is ready made. 
While those living in the villages are not happy with the sweets found in 
our shops as they do not give that much of pleasure as the ones prepared at 
home. We all enjoy the sweets prepared in our kitchen with lots of noise and 
shouting. The stars prepared from bamboos and the coloured paper stuck with 
the gum prepared from wheat flour. This novel idea has been implemented in 
Mapuca. Each sector in Mapuca will jointly prepare a crib and a star. Then 
we will be having a get together of all the members of our sector. On the 
nineteenth we are having mass for the old and the sick. Each sector will go 
round carol singing.All these items will bring joy to us. Let us remember 
the ones which do not have a sky over their head and cloth beneath their 
body to cover it and something to get in the stomach. Please think of these 
downtrodden brothers and keep them in your heart.
