Dear friends
I am missing something. I remember that I used to get goa news and that made 
a fine reading. In Mapuca we used to get the Mapuca Plus every month free of 
cost but some how it stopped. The Mapsekars started the Altinh fest 
lastFebraury r .Many children took part in the cultural programme and one of 
them was Johnny Paes' daughter who danced so well like a professional 
actress .This Febrauary there was nothing. Every one forgot and we the 
people of altinho really missed that fest.For those who do not know how it 
was done, The road in front of Valentinho Pinto's house was closed for 
traffic and chairs were put in a row and at the down slope of the road a big 
stage was laid with lights etc and most of the items were sponsered. There 
were food stalls all around the road and the old houses which were closed 
were used for exhibition and art gallery. Thousands of people attended the 
fest and this year we were looking out for the same but the fest became 
burra fest.
