Regardless of what one's opinion is on the swapping of copyrighted goods via p- 2-p networks, the facts surrounding this particular investigation clearly DO NOT insinuate that p-2-p criminal investigations have become a priority for the DOJ. One "federal law-enforcement action targeting distribution of copyrighted materials over so-called peer-to-peer networks" does not make a priority. Does Barry have evidence to suggest that resources are being pulled away from the hunt for OBL and funneled towards an organized DoJ fight against p-2-p networks? We clearly should not expect the DoJ to ignore other types of investigations. Baseless accusations do nothing but foster unwarranted fear and lead to a mis-informed public. Rob D'Ovidio |
