Progress and Freedom Foundation, my foot.: msg#00105culture.people.interesting-people
------ Forwarded Message From: "David P. I sent this to you once before, Dave. Since you and Dewayne are giving airtime to the gasbags at the PFF in Aspen, here's my reaction. People should look more closely at the Progress and Freedom Foundation's board and funding sources. The "Aspen conference" is full of speakers who all seem to be qualified to comment on Progress and Freedom by virtue of being CEO's of large companies and inside-the-beltway types. Not a single person who actually does creative work or innovation. Or for that matter, anyone who consumes creativity or innovation. It's the usual rich or powerful cigar-smoking back-room crowd, arrogantly ignoring democracy, free speech, and liberty for their customers. The folks they think of as eyeballs, rather than thinkers, consumers rather than creators, demographics rather than democrats. ------ End of Forwarded Message For archives see: http://www.interesting-people.org/archives/interesting-people/ |
