Mr. Jinnah banned! Delhi Police turns into Censorboard!!

The Delhi Police today declined to issue NoC to Asmita
Group's production titled Mr. Jinnah just a day before
the scheduled date i.e., June 22. The police demanded
the script of the play on June 16 which was
immediately provided by the director. Since then the
learned team has been unable to find time to read the
script and now they(DCP-South District's Office) have
declared that the script is illegible. This is the
same script which all the artists of Mr. Jinnah and
Asmita group have been discussing and researching on
since last two months. 
Law and order agencies have possibly presumed without
discussing with the author and the director that the
name 'Mr. Jinnah' is enough reason to ban staging of
an artist's interpretation of a person, who was a
leader, a father , a lover, a friend etc. 
Why Delhi Police is trying to become Censor Board?
Can someone possibly answer?

galatfahmiyon ka shikar baney rehney ke liye abhishapt
hein?
