beyondhom Chaos

I was desperately looking for the reference in James Gleick's "Chaos - making a 
new science" before you queried me!  It was in regard to the normal/natural 
heart beat - that being chaotic - and is in reference to the Chaos Theory - I 
would say that what we call "Chaos" implying "disorder",  is just the 
description of patterns at the moment beyond man's ability to define?

Just as I was contemplating a fly in my car as i drove home today, wondering if 
that fly had abilities and perceptions beyond our ability to 
capture/analyse/define?

The starting point of the Chaos Theory was the Butterfly Effect.
