Subject: Le Cercle - Pinay Circle - msg#00524List: culture.discuss.cia-drugsLe Cercle / membership list Le Cercle is a secret transnational intelligence and direct action group, that, according to all accounts, is funded by the CIA. We only know the dates and places of a handful of Circle meetings (1), which were attended by about a hundred persons at a time. Before the 1990's, it was called Cercle Violet, or initially, Cercle Pinay, in both cases after its (French) chairman. In later times, chairmanship of Le Cercle went on to the British. The Pinay Circle used to fight the spread of communism worldwide, at all costs, even in our own backyard. This threat largely ceased to exist when the USSR collapsed and the role of the Circle had to change. Today, its members are probably talking about "Al-Qaeda infiltration" instead of "communist infiltration", although looking at the people involved with the Circle, I wonder how many actually believe in the 'War on Terror' as a tool to spread "freedom" and "democracy". We will get to that later.
In 1980, German intelligence chief Hans Langemann described the Circle as: "... the Circle consists of a loose gathering of various conservative and anti-Communist politicians, publicists, bankers and VIPs that meets some twice a year in various parts of the world. Its origins stem from the former French Prime Minister Antoine Pinay. The Circle, which still exists today, also invites guest speakers... One recent development is the establishment within the Circle of a command staff or of an inner circle which then works out particularly suitable means for action on current political questions."We first heard about the Pinay Circle in 1975, when about 1500 internal pages from the British Institute for the Study of Conflict (ISC) were leaked to Time Out Magazine. Later, in 1980 and 1982 (#37), Der Spiegel made references to this group and the involvement of Frans Joseph Strauss with it (Der Spiegel and Strauss were sworn enemies ever since the 1962 'Spiegel Affair'). The articles of Der Spiegel were based on internal memos from Hans Langemann, who was chief of security of the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior and Director of Security during the 1972 Olympics. Looking at the few papers that have been published, it appears that Langemann was informing persons within the German government about the clandestine efforts of the Circle to get Franz Joseph Strauss elected. How they ended up on the desk of Der Spiegel seems to be unknown. After Der Spiegel published this information, a few intelligence magazines and newsletters like Lobster and 'Intelligence' became interested in this group. Lobster Magazine wrote its first article about this group in 1985, followed by a couple of other articles in the years following. After that, Lobster would sometimes find tidbits of new information they shared with their readers. Since the late 1990's, information about this group has become more accessible due to the introduction of the internet and scandals surrounding Jonathan Aitken and Nadhmi Auchi. According to Lobster in 1986, the Pinay Circle was created in 1969 by Antoine Pinay, Jean Violet, and Otto von Habsburg. Their exact source is unclear. It could be 'Intelligence', the original Time Out article, or author Roger Faligot (2). Anyway, this date has indirectly been disputed in 2003 by The Observer who suggested that the Circle was created in the 1950's, again by Antoine Pinay, but this time with the German chancellor Konrad Adenauer (who died in 1967) (3). Because the earlier Lobster article seems to have been based on some of the original ISC documents, and because they name a specific year, I consider this source the most reliable. However, looking at the Stay-Behind networks, it's likely that there have been earlier Circle-like meetings. In any case, there's no doubt that all the earlier named people were working together in the 1950's and 1960's in building up a United Europe, allied with the United States. Pinay and at least representatives of Adenauer were visiting Bilderberg and Jean Violet was already working for Habsburg on projects like the Académie Européenne de Sciences Politiques (ultraconservative Pan-European society). They also shared another very interesting commonality, they were all faithful Catholics. And not just that; Pinay, Habsburg, and Adenauer were members of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta (SMOM) (4). Pinay, Habsburg and the less prominent Jean Violet have also been accused of involvement with Opus Dei (5). This is all the more interesting because Joseph Retinger, who recruited Bernhard and others to set up Bilderberg, was another Vatican agent; a Jesuit and likely a Knight of Malta (6). At the end of WWII, the Knights of Malta have been involved with smuggling nazis out of Germany with the help of the OSS (later CIA), an organisation they themselves helped to establish (4 / 7). In turn, the CIA funded the covert anti-communist war in Europe, including Radio Free Europe, the Economist, the European Council of Princes, the Gehlen Organization (8 / 9), the Stay-Behind networks (10), the Pinay Circle, and the overall European moverment. A lot of this money was funneled through American Committee on United Europe (ACUE), which was established at the direction of Duncan Sandys, Joseph Retinger, Allen Dulles, and William Donovan. Dulles and Donovan were top CIA chiefs and Knights of Malta, Retinger a Vatican agent, and Duncan Sandys a son-in-law of Churchill. Besides the CIA's clandestine efforts, the Ford Foundation and the Rockefeller Institute were the prime sponsors of the ACUE (11). Undoubtedly, a case can be made that the communist empire was 'evil'. One only has to read books like Rummel's 'Death by Government' or Solzhenitsyn's 'The Gulag Archipelago'. On the other hand, another case can be made that the recruitment of nazi spy chief Reinhard Gehlen hasn't done the East-West relations any good. These days it is quite clear that this Circle member has been exaggerating the communist threat to justify his own existence (12). Then there is another unanswered question about the role of western companies and individuals who have been selling the USSR all the technology it needed to become a super power (13). Why was this allowed to happen? Why hasn't this been recorded in the history books? And how many members of the Pinay Circle were involved or aware of these dealings? Plenty of questions that will remain for now. The other prominent force in Le Cercle is the British throne and the City of London. Undoubtedly, the British played a role in creating the Pinay Circle, but only in more recent years their influence can be seen. Antoine Pinay and Jean Violet have already been named as chairman, probably the first and second. In different news articles of later years, three other persons have been named as chairman of Le Cercle. First, Julian Amery (14), followed by his protege Jonathan Aitken (15), and finally Lord Norman Lamont (16), who is still the chairman of Le Cercle today. These three persons have in common that they have all been made members of the Queen's Privy Council (17), which in itself sends a pretty clear message across of who's involved. It also turns out that the father of Julian Amery has been one of the most crucial persons in establishing Israel, while at the same time conceiling his whole life that he was a Jew. Appointed to the War Cabinet by Round Table & Pilgrims Society member Lord Alfred Milner, Leopold Amery was the author of the final draft of the Balfour Declaration, which was sent to Lord Lionel de Rothschild. It committed Britain to the establishment of a Jewish 'National Home' in Palestine. Leopold was also a key player in creating the Jewish Legion, the forerunner of the Israeli Defense Force (18). Today's chairman, Lord Lamont has been a long time director of N.M. Rothschild and Rothschild Asset Management. All three men have a very interesting history and you can find more details further down in this article or on the membership page. It might also be interesting to note that Queen Elizabeth II is head of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem, the protestant counterpart of the earlier mentioned Knights of Malta. Both claim to have been descended from the medieval Knights Hospitaller, the organization to which all the Templar assets were transferred, together with a good portion of its members. Queen Elizabeth II is also head of the much more exclusive Order of the Garter and patron of the elite Anglo-American Pilgrims Society. The British royals are leading members of the United Grand Lodge of England, the British Invisibles, the Anglo-Arab Organization, and the 1001 Club. The British Invisibles promote the interests of the 'Square Mile'. The Anglo-Arab Organization supposedly promotes Anglo-Arab friendship, although it's headed by the very questionable Circle member Nadhmi Auchi. The 1001 Club is a fundraising mechanism for the WWF and a secret meeting place for businessmen and politicians from all over the world. So you see, good or bad, there's a lot of activity going on around the British Royals and the business interests of the City of Londen. Naturally, the intelligence part is even more hidden.
There might have been a good reason for the creation of the Pinay Circle in 1969. In the midst of the Cold War, on November 13, 1968, Russian leader Leonid Brezhnev told his audience: "When forces that are hostile to socialism try to turn the development of some socialist country towards capitalism, it becomes not only a problem of the country concerned, but a common problem and concern of all socialist countries." This statement was called the 'Brezhnev Doctrine' and ment that the Soviet Union would openly intervene militarily if any country under its control tried to push off the communist influence. Brezhnev had already made that clear 3 months earlier, when he quashed the rebellion in Prague. From now on, if a western country would convert to communism, it would probably take world war III to ever switch it back to a capitalist economy. These Soviet actions could easily have led to the creation of this covert direct action group. When you reverse Brezhnev's statement you'll find that it matches perfectly with what the Pinay Circle has been doing: "When forces that are hostile to capitalism try to turn the development of some capitalist country towards communism, it becomes not only a problem of the country concerned, but a common problem and concern of all capitalist countries." On November 8, 1979, Langemann wrote the following (19): Protected source contributions to state security. Personal for the state minister only. "The militant conservative London publicist, Brian Crozier, Director of the famous Institute for the Study of Conflict up to September 1979, has been working with his diverse circle of friends in international politics to build an anonymous action group, a 'transnational security organisation', and to widen its field of operations. Crozier worked with the CIA for years. One has to assume, therefore, that they are fully aware of his activities. He has extensive connections with members, or more accurately, former members, of the most important western security and intelligence services..." Amongst other points in the (Crozier) planning paper are: Specific Aims within this framework are to affect a change of government in What the group can do if financing is available.
"As far as can be judged by outsiders Crozier has initiated with his group the project 'Victory for Strauss'..." In the regular media Brian Crozier is usually only known as a historian, strategist, journalist, and author of 'The Rise and Fall of the Soviet Empire'. That Crozier has been recruited by MI6 and the CIA is less well known, together with his connections to most other European intelligence agencies (20). Crozier also worked for the Information Research Department (IRD), an intelligence disinformation service, which spread a huge amount of anti-communist propaganda through papers, magazines, radio, and television by using media outlets as the BBC and Reuters. Crozier would call them "benign deceptions". Brian Crozier was also the chairman of the anti-communist Institute for the Study of Conflict (ISC), which, through him, received assignments from the "Pinay Committee". This is according to the ISC's own documents, which were leaked in 1975, possibly to expose the role of the Pinay Committee. In 1976, Brian Crozier set up a covert advisory committee called 'Shield', in order to get Margaret Thatcher elected. The words of the committee became Thatcher's election campaign, which resulted in her election as Prime Minister in May 1979, 1983, and 1987. This is why Crozier's planning paper says "Change of government in the United Kingdom - accomplished." Just as her Cercle-supported American counterpart, Thatcher made sure that a strong anti-communist policy was followed, together with a policy of privatization of public goods. When Thatcher was elected, Crozier and the Pinay Circle started supporting the election campaign of Franz Joseph Strauss to become Chancellor of Germany. The Circle spread articles in newspapers and magazines to counter the scandals Strauss had been involved with many years earlier, saying these allegations were KGB propaganda. In the end, they failed miserably and Helmut Kohl became the new Chancellor. It's interesting to note that in 2002 the Observer reported about a classified BND report which accused Herbert Batliner, friend to Helmut Kohl and senior lawyer and fund manager from Lichtenstein, of laudering money for Kohl's Christian Democrat party (21). Whoever this person is, it's probably no coincidence that he is today's president of Pontificia Accademia delle Scienze Sociali located in Vatican City. Lichtenstein's ruler, Hans Adam II is a Knight of Malta, a member of Opus Dei, and a member of the Habsburg dynasty. It's incredibly hard to say if the Vatican and London factions are true rivals. Just take a look at someone like George H.W. Bush, he's close to both interests. Besides having funneled money to Kohl's political party, the BND also accused Batliner of having done the same for Marcos, Escobar, and Mobutu (1001 Club). As expected, Batliner has been cleared of all charges. Back to the document above. Further down in it you can see how the Circle operates. Examples of point two, the creation of intelligence agencies, are the Stay-Behind networks, the CIA's Knights Templar (22), the Safari Club (23), Shield & The 61 (24), Group 13 (25), SFD-K (26), ISA (27), and Rumsfeld's P2OG (28). These agencies can be set up for any amount of time for any purpose. If they get exposed, you just start over under a different name with different people. Circle members Allen Dulles, Frank Wisner, William Colby, Stefano Delle Chiaie, Giulio Andreotti, General Stilwell, and probably Karel Meulmeester have all been involved in the creation or maintenance of the Stay-Behind networks. Circle members Allen Dulles, Frank Wisner, and Kermit Roosevelt were members of the Knights Templar. Circle members Alexandre de Marenches and Kermit Roosevelt set up the Safari Club. Circle member Brian Crozier set up Shield and The 61. Who set up the assassination squad Group 13 is unknown. Circle member General Stilwell set up SFD-K and ISA. Finally, Rumsfeld is one of those persons that just has to be a Circle member. Can't imagine it any other way. Another paper from Langemann confirms the 'hands on' approach of the Circle: "On 5 and 6/1 1980 members of the Circle met in Zurich to discuss executive measures..." The main things discussed were: Earlier, I mentioned Bilderberg, an organization people often compare with the Pinay Circle. In 1954, Bilderberg was created as a secret unofficial discussion forum. Communists weren't allowed to join the bankers, businessmen, publicists, and politicians at these annual meetings. The purpose of Bilderberg was to bring Europe together, to strengthen it against the communists, and to keep it allied with the United States. Many people, including politicians, weren't too happy with the way the Americans acted ("like elephants in a porcelain shop") and the way they influenced the European economies through their Marshall aid. At Bilderberg, representatives from one country or from one sector could ventilate their frustrations with another party. The 'off the record', informal, and confidential setting made it far easier to work towards a solution. This was crucial in post-war Europe and since the aim is a United Europe allied with the United States it is still important today (29). However, the Pinay Circle seems to have been fundamentally different than Bilderberg. The Bilderbergers were more interested in resolving conflict with the usual political and economical means; by talking, standing together, issuing boycots, etc. It was, and is an extension of ordinary politics and ordinary business. In some cases you might call it conspiratorial, but all in all it's not that terribly exciting. On the other hand, the Pinay Circle is more of an extension of the international intelligence agencies. And not necessarily that part of the intelligence agencies that only gather information, but that part that is more involved with the 'hands on' work. That part that 'stimulates' regime change. At the moment, we just don't have enough information about the the Circle to reach a conclusion, but when we look at the names we have available, we should be able to get a more detailed picture of what this group is all about. At the moment, we have the names of about 60 people that have visited the Circle at least once. Turns out that at least half of them can be considered controversial. (You can find many more names and details on the full membership list) 1. Jonathan Aitken Former Privy Councillor involved with brokering illegal arms deals on behalf of different British companies. Has a warm relationship with MI6. Former chairman of Le Cercle. 2. Prince Turki Al-FaisalStudied at Princeton, Cambridge and Georgetown (Jesuit) Universities. Long-time Bin Laden protege. Says he last met with Bin Laden in 1990, but has been accused of being in contact with him up until 2001. On November 1, 2001, The Guardian wrote, "Two months before September 11 Osama bin Laden flew to Dubai for 10 days for treatment at the American hospital, where he was visited by the local CIA agent, according to the French newspaper Le Figaro... [French] Intelligence sources say that another CIA agent was also present; and that Bin Laden was also visited by Prince Turki al Faisal, then head of Saudi intelligence, who had long had links with the Taliban, and Bin Laden..." Al-Faisal had been a 25 year head of Saudi intelligence when he suddenly resigned on September 1, 2001. In recent interviews, he avoided mentioning the U.S.'s & U.K.'s illegal weapons supplies to Bin Laden in the 1980's. Blames a lot of terrorism on Israel and the Muslim Brotherhood (which, looking at his past, he seems to sympathize with). Faisal, together with the ISI and the CIA, played a major role in bringing the Taliban to power. 3. Lord Julian Amery Former chairman of Le Cercle. Privy Councillor, protege of Jonathan Aitken, and former consultant to the BCCI. His SMOM brother was a Nazi propagandist in Germany and Italy and worked as a gun runner for General Franco. In contrast, his father was one of the most prominent founders of a Jewish 'homeland' in Palestine, while at the same time never having mentioned he was a Jew himself. Said to have been at a secret meeting with Nicholas Elliot (Le Cercle), Henry Kissinger (Le Cercle), and Prince Johannes von Thurn und Taxis (1001 Club) on Sharon's ranch on Nov. 15, 1982. 4. Giulio Andreotti Accused of being the true head of P2. Opus Dei member and a Knight of Malta. Said to be a member of the Priory the Sion (Monarchist templar organization. It is very possible that the history of the organization has been made up). Under pressure he was the first to disclose the Italian 'Stay-Behind' network - Gladio. Investigated for protecting and working with the mafia. Convicted of ordering the murder of a journalist, but was released immediately. He was later acquitted of the charges and still walks free. 5. Nadhmi Auchi Former member of Saddam's inner circle. Very involved with the British government, the British royals, and illegal arms trafficking to Iraq. Chairman of the elite Anglo-Arab Organization, which is attended by the British royals and kings of the Middle-East. A bit like Le Cercle it seems. 6. Zbigniew Brzezinski Very anti-communist national security advisor who set up the Trilateral Commission in 1973. Wrote a book in 1997 in which he more or less proposed to invade the Middle-East for its resources and push Russia and China out of area. Of course, the American people had to be 'pursuaded'. His son has been accused of financing the pro-Nato opposition in the 2004 elections of the Ukraine. 7. Anthony Cavendish Former senior MI6 officer, who acted as a consultant to Nadhmi Auchi's (corrupt) business empire. Involved in a lot of covert ops. 8. Paul Channon As trade minister he allowed a chlorine plant secretly to be sold to Iraq by the British company Uhde Ltd, in the knowledge that it was likely to be used to make mustard and nerve gas, which was used in the war with Iran at that time. 9. Stefano Delle Chiaie Fascist Gladio bomber who was a member of the P2 and a member of the SID (Italian intelligence). Involved in the failed 1964 fascist coup in Italy and indicted for the 1969 bombing of the Bologna railway station, which claimed the lives of 85 people and injured more than 200. He was released in 1989. 10. Jacques Chirac Close associate of Jean Violet and Alexandre de Marenches. Considered Hussein as a friend and sold him nuclear technology in the 1970's. He also agreed to train 600 Iraqi nuclear technicians and scientists. "Jacques Iraq" is the only Western leader to have personally met with the Iraqi president. He is said to have closed down the Safari Club after it's existence was discovered. 11. William Colby As a CIA employee he set up the Scandinavian Stay-Behind networks in 1954. Ran a covert op against the Italian communist party in the 1950's. Directed the CIA's Phoenix program in Vietnam. Involved in a coup in Chile as CIA director. Either Opus Dei or SMOM. Maybe both. 12. Brian Crozier CIA and MI6 employee. Founder and chairman of the London Institute for the Study of Conflict. Psyop and disinformation specialist. His secret Shield Committee got Margaret Thatcher elected as prime minister of the UK. Also set up 'the 61' in 1977, a 'private sector operational intelligence agency'. 13. Allen Dulles Involved in the Vatican Ratlines and Project Paperclip as an OSS employee and Knight of Malta. Member of the 'Knights Templar', a secret intelligence group within the CIA. One of the more important people in setting up the European Stay-Behind networks. One of the initial investigators of the JFK murder. Member Pilgrims Society. 14. Nicholas Elliot Officer in MI6's 'Section D', which specialized in sabotage and unconventional warfare. Member of Crozier's Shield Comittee and member of 'The 61'. Accused of having let his friend Kim Philby escape to the USSR. Sat on the board of Lonrho where he was accused of basically doing nothing of importance (besides being an intelligence asset). Stood in contact with George H.W. Bush at the time he went from being a CIA director to vice-president. Said to have been at a secret meeting with Julian Amery, Henry Kissinger, and Prince Johannes von Thurn und Taxis (1001 Club) on Sharon's ranch on Nov. 15, 1982. 15. Reinhard Gehlen Hitler's intelligence chief on Eastern Europe and the USSR during WWII. He was a member of SMOM and together with Allen Dulles involved in the Nazi Ratlines. He became head of the Gehlen Org and the later BND. Accused of having exaggerated the communist threat to justify his own role. This did a lot of damage to U.S.-Soviet relations and to a large degree it also caused the 'communist-under-the-bed' mentality. 16. Sir James Goldsmith His first wife was the 18 year old daughter of 1001 Club member Antenor Patiño and a Spanish Royal. Patiño didn't want his daughter to marry with a Jew so the couple ran off. His wife died of massive cerebral hemorrhage some time later. Goldsmith was nicknamed the 'Green Billionaire' and became deeply involved with British intelligence. Financed the founding of the radical Friends of the Earth movement in 1970. Accused of smuggling his friend Lord Lucan out of the country after this person was investigated for the murder on his children's nanny and the attempted murder on hs wife in 1974. From 1980 to 1982 Goldsmith was involved in a Circle coordinated propaganda effort in order to get the neo-fascist Franz Joseph Strauss elected as Chancellor of Germany. In 1990 Goldsmith bought KAS Enterprises, a private SAS front company that had been running Operation Lock under the supervision of SAS founder David Stirling (his niece married Lord Cranborne of Le Cercle). Operation Lock was an assassination program in the whole of Southern Africa which targetted anti-apartheid leaders. This operation was closely associated with the WWF's 1001 Club. David Stirling, Lord Lucan, James Goldsmith, and Tiny Rowland, were all members of The Clermont gambling club in the 1960's. It has been claimed that during this time these people were thinking about committing a facist coup against the labour government. Some of Goldsmith's other friends included Circle members Kermit Roosevelt and George Soros. In the 1990s he founded the Euro-sceptic Referendum Party. In 2003, his son Benjamin, married Kate Rothschild of the Rothschild family. 17. Otto von Habsburg Former heir to the Habsburg Kingdom. Said to have been sponsored by MI6 after his family was kicked out of Austria. Married the daughter of Baron Hans Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza (1001 Club). During the Habsburg dynasty they were extremely close with the Thurn und Taxis family (1001 Club, Mont Pelerin Society, seems to have been involved with intelligence). Co-founder of the Pinay Circle together with Antoine Pinay. Long time president of the CIA sponsored anti-communist European Council of Princes until 1992. Member of the Ordo Draconis, Knights of Malta, Opus Dei, Mont Pelerin Society, and said to have been a member of the Priory the Sion (Monarchist templar organization. It is very possible that the history of the organization has been made up). 18. Michael Howard For some reason he released one of Britain's biggest drug kingpins John Haase, 10 months into a 18 year prison sentence. A member of Haase?s gang, Simon Bakerman, imprisoned for running an amphetamine factory, is Michael Howard?s cousin. Described as being 'Dracula-like'. Together with Nadhmi Auchi and Prince Andrew he is a member of the Anglo-Arab Organization. Auchi is the chairman. 19. Henry Kissinger Accused of everything, convicted of nothing. Fritz Kraemer and Rockefeller protege. Member Pilgrims Society, 1001 Club, Bilderberg, Trilateral Commission, Council on Foreign Relations, and Bohemian Grove camp Mandalay. Had a top position at companies like J.P. Morgan, AIG, and Hollinger. Initial head of the 9/11 Commission, but it turned out he was a little bit too controversial. 20. Norman Lamont Longtime director of N.M. Rothschild and Rothschild Asset Management until 1995. Member of the Privy Council. Chancellor of the Exchequer. Became chairman of Le Cercle in 1996. Lamont was a director of one of Nadhmi Auchi's biggest companies, Compagnie Internationale de Participations Bancaires et Financieres, the financial arm of General Mediterranean Holdings. Vice-chairman of the International Nuclear Safety Commission (chairman Mikhail Gorbachev) and chairman of the Oil Club (monthly meeting of energy professionals). In February 2005, John Major and Norman Lamont were accused of holding up the release of papers on Black Wednesday under the Freedom of Information Act. Black Wednesday refers to September 16, 1992 when the British government was forced to withdraw the Pound from the European Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM) by currency speculators - most notably Circle member George Soros who made $1 billion that day. 21. Alexandre de Marenches SMOM member who set up the right wing intelligence and direct action group, the Safari Club. In 1978, Le Monde claimed that de Marenches led a domestic campaign of terrorism and disinformation while being head of the SDECE. 22. David Rockefeller Accused of everything, convicted of nothing. Just as Kissinger involved in everything. 23. Kermit Roosevelt, Jr. Son of President Theodore Roosevelt. Headed Operation Ajax, which overthrew Mohammed Mossadegh of Iran in favor of the brutal Shah. Member of the 'Knight's Templar', an elite intelligence group within the CIA. Was one of the 5 founders of the African Wildlife Foundation in 1961, together with Russell E. Train and 1001 Club member Arthur W. Arundel. Helped de Marenches in setting up the secret intelligence group Safari Club in 1976. Crony of Sir James Goldsmith, who was nicknamed 'the Green Billionaire'. 24. Tiny Rowland Enemy of Dodi al-Fayed. Chairman of Lonrho and an MI6 intelligence asset. Financed communist rebels and regimes in Africa (unusual for Circle members). Close associate of controversial people like Ashraf Marwan ("Dr. Death"), Gaddafi, Ahmed al-Dam (financed the Abu Nidal Organization, which held numerous accounts with the BCCI), and Adnan Khashoggi (notorious international arms dealer with a large account at the BCCI). 25. George Soros Owns Quantum Fund, which is said to be a front for some of the Rothschild and Windsor investments. Financed the pro-western movements in Georgia, The Ukraine, and Russia, which led to several regime changes. Trustee of the Center for Russian Leadership Development (Open World Program). Founder of the Open Society Institute. Close associate of Circle member Sir James Goldsmith. 26. Antonio de Spinola Headed the Porugese right-wing coups in 1974 and 1975. Eventually he had to flee to Spain. Frank Carlucci and Henry Kissinger approved the regime change. 27. General Richard Stilwell CIA and SHAPE official. Supposedly controlled the Stay-Behind networks together with General Lansdale (NSA / Northwoods / Mongoose). Involved with wrestling control of the South-American trade union movement at the direction of SMOM head J. Peter Grace and David Rockefeller. Created new army intelligence units like SFD-K and ISA. That last one is said to have been involved in drug smuggling and arms trafficking. Just as his son (died in 2002 in a car crash), he was a close associate of people like Richard Armitage, Frank Carlucci (chairman Carlyle), and Peter G. Peterson (chairman The Blackstone Group). 28. Frans Joseph Straus Corrupt neo-fascist German politician. Accused of taking arms industry bribes from the Thyssens (1001 Club). Died in 1989 on a hunting trip with Prince Johannes von Thurn un Taxis (1001 Club). 29. Geoffrey Tantum MI6 head of the Middle-East section. Met the disgraced Jonathan Aitken every six weeks. 30. Jean Violet Suspected of having been a fascist collaborator in France during WWII. After the war he became a member of Opus Dei and was involved with Antoine Pinay, Otto von Habsburg, Philippe de Weck, and the French foreign intelligence service. Named as a co-founder of the Pinay Circle. 31. Paul Volcker Chairman of the controversial Independent Inquiry Committee into the Oil-For-Food program. Member Pilgrims Society, visitor of Bilderberg and Bohemian Grove camp Mandalay. Former director of the CFR and chairman of the Trilateral Commission. Member of the Circle of Presidents of the RAND Corporation and chairman of the board of trustees of the Group of Thirty. Has been employed at the Federal Reserve, Chase Manhattan, Wolfensohn & Co., and Power Corp. 32. Philippe de Weck Chairman of UBS (now UBS Warburg). He was an Opus Dei member and an associate of Circle founders Antoine Pinay and Jean Violet. He also stood in contact with members of the P2 lodge. In the late seventies, De Weck was a key person in ripping off the French oil company Elf for a total sum of about $200 million. It is suspected that the money was used for political, catholic and anti-communist purposes, although this has never been proven. After this debacle, the pope appointed Weck to the supervisory board of the Vatican Bank at about the same time of the Calvi murder. 33. Frank Wisner, Jr.His father was an OSS and CIA veteran who set up Operation Bloodstone (recruiting of nazis to fight the war against the Soviets) and Operation Mockingbird (successful effort to subvert the US media). His father was also involved in coups in Iran (1953) and Guatamala (1954), an associate of communist spy Kim Philby, and funded a Hollywood production of Animal Farm, the animated allegory based on the book written by George Orwell. His father was also a member of the 'Knight's Templar', an elite intelligence group within the CIA. Frank Wisner, Jr. is a career CIA agent, a vice-chairman of AIG, vice-chairman U.S. Bangladesh Business Council, and has been an ambassador to many countries. As an ambassador to India he was lobbying for Enron, a company he joined in 1997. He has been, or still is a director of the U.S. India Business Council, EOG Resources Inc., the AIG Investment Bank in Russia, Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Institute for the Study of Diplomacy at Georgetown (Jesuit), the American University of Beirut, the American University of Cairo, and Hakluyt (a London-based corporate investigation firm formed by ex-MI6 agents). Most of the Circle members involved with intelligence have already been named. Some that haven't are Sir Dick Franks (director-general of MI6 1979-1982), general Charles Fraser (South-African counterinsurgency expert), Donald Jameson (former chief of the CIA's Soviet Division who was at least aware of the remote viewing projects), colonel Billy Maclean (MI6 officer involved with guerrilla warfare in the Middle-East), Thomas Twetten (CIA Deputy Director of Operations involved with planning an assassination on Hussein), Ion Iliescu (probable KGB spy who helped to topple Ceausescu). Iliescu probably visited the Circle only after the USSR collapsed. He met publicly with Brian Crozier and Donald Jameson during the 1990's. One other person I always like to mention is Edwin J. Feulner, today's president of the extremely influential Heritage Foundation, former chairman of the Institute for European Defense and Strategic Studies in London, and named as nr 45 of the top 50 most influential politicians by George magazine (number one was Alan Greenspan, number two was Dick Cheney). And keep in mind that membership isn't limited to people from Europe and North-America. Besides Prince Al-Faisal of Saudi-Arabia, the Sultan of Oman and the King of Jordan have also attended Circle meetings.
A couple of examples of people that have (or had) a close relationship with the Circle are George Ball, Stephen Bechtel, William Buckley, George H.W. Bush, Frank Carlucci, William Casey, Alexander Haig, Fritz Kraemer, Victor Krulak, General Lansdale, Vernon Walters, and John Hay Whitney. These are right wing oriented people involved with known Circle members, the Institute for the Study of Conflict, different intelligence agencies, and / or the Knights of Malta. Then we know of some politicians that had a close relationship with the Circle and have been supported by it: Richard Nixon 1969 Has visited the Circle. Giscard d'Estaing 1974-1981 His campaign was funded by strange elements like Opus Dei and French templar initiate Jaques Massie. Massie stood in contact with P2 head Licio Gellie and was later murdered together with his entire family (30). d'Estaing lost the 1981 election from Miterrand. At that moment, Circle member de Marenches immediately quit as head of the SDECE. Antonio de Spinola 1974-1975 Has visited the Circle. Headed 2 coups in Portugal against the communists with the consent of Circle members. They failed. Margaret Thatcher 1979-1990 Came to power through Brian Crozier's Shield committee. In January 2005, her son Mark was fined half a million dollars and received a four-year suspended jail sentence in South Africa for abetting a coup attempt in Equatorial Guinea. This of course is very similar to Mark Brzezinski, son of Circle member Zbigniew Brzezinski, who was accused of abetting a regime change in The Ukraine in 2004. Frans Joseph Strauss 1982 Crozier and Goldsmith were running a clandestine campaign to counter accusations against Strauss as KGB propaganda. Failed. John Major 1990-1997 Circle members Norman Lamont and Robert Cecil were running his election campaigns. John Major has been chairman of Carlyle Europe, chairman of the Ditchley Foundation, Order of the Garter, and Privy Councillor. He is also one of the few Brits that visited the Bohemian Grove.Undoubtedly, many politicians have been targets of the Pinay Circle, but in the few documents we have, no specific names have been given. It is also unknown to what extent the Pinay Circle has been involved in discrediting political figures. Also, the role of the Circle in assassinations, arms trafficking, the drug trade, and possibly even conducting terrorism at home or abroad is unknown. Many individual members are heavily involved in this line of business, but it's doubtful that the Circle is used as a platform to discuss these issues. Looking at the 2005 speech made by Prince Al-Faisal, all these people are concerned about is human rights and peace on earth (31). Even though you might like his speech, let me repeat something important; Al-Faisal is the former Bin Laden protege who is accused of meeting with him in July 2001 together with the CIA and several of Bin Laden's family members (32). At the same time, Al-Faisal was accused of having arranged trips to Osama for some of these same family members (33). If that isn't enough, Al-Faisal also decided to leave as 25 year head of Saudi foreign intelligence on September 1, 2001 (34). Al-Faisal by the way, blames terrorism on either the Zionists (35) or the secretive and extremist Muslim Brotherhood (36). On the surface, the Muslim Brotherhood is a friendly charitable and harmless society, not unlike the Knights the Malta or Opus Dei. But even though it publicly denounces every terrorist attack, today it's generally accepted that the Brotherhood is the coordinating secret society for international Islamic terrorism (37). The founders of the PLO, Hamas, and Al-Qaeda were all members of the Brotherhood before they started their own terrorist organizations. Bin Laden and Zawahiri are just the figureheads of the Al-Qaeda branch, just as Arafat was the figurehead of the PLO branch, and Sheikh Yassim of the Hamas branch, that's all. We still don't know very much about the inner workings of the Muslim Brotherhood, although we do know that branches of it are protected by western intelligence agencies (38). The key to understanding international terrorism and crimes against humanity is to understand the world's secret societies. Le Cercle is probably quite important, but there many more. Previous Message by Date: click to view message previewProject for the Exposure of Hidden Institutions (PEHI)The purpose of the Project for the Exposure of Hidden Institutions (PEHI) is to put together the entire spectrum of hidden organizations and secret societies. Most of you who visit this site have probably heard of the more well-known 'secret societies' like the Council on Foreign Relations, the Bohemian Grove, and the Skull & Bones student society. Two other well known 'secret societies' are Bilderberg and the Trilateral Commission. The thing is, when you really research these institutes you find that members often disagree with each other, there's considerable infighting, and most members don't seem to be privy to any information from the black and deep black programs. This is the reason I always wondered how people went from the above organizations straight to the very undefined concept of the 'Illuminati'. Of course, I can see something very strange is going on. For some reason it's possible to suppress information about humanities past, the UFO phenomenon, alternative energy, the supernatural, high profile assassinations, or the true cause of many terrorist attacks. Rather than focusing on one tiny subject, PEHI will attempt to answer how all the above is possible and which persons and institutes could be responsible for it. This site will be fundamentally different than most. We don't need another rewrite combined with another religiously biased opinion, which doesn't stroke with any of the evidence. We need names of institutions, names of members, and as much background information about both as possible. We need organized digital membership lists in which all this information is available for any purpose at any time. Biographies should be included and must be updated continually in all of these lists as new information becomes available. I can already guarantee you that when this is done on all the globalist societies, one by one, we will see patterns in the leadership and we can pick out those people that need to be investigated still further. If there are any 'puppet masters' (and I'm not so sure about that at all), this is the only way to pick them out and to have a rock solid foundation of research no one can dispute. General oversight At this introduction page I will give you an idea of what I'm working on at the moment. It's not meant to back up every claim with a list of sources. This is something that will be done at the 'in depth' section of the website. On the left I have organized a lot of the most influential privately funded discussion forums in the world. Already it is clear that a few interests dominate the scene. The first one is the infamous Rockefeller family. This family played a major role in setting up and / or maintaining most of the American-based institutions: the Americas Society, the Asia Society, the Japan Society, the CFR, and the Trilateral Commission. As far as I know, they also funded the Atlantic Institute for International Affairs and the Williamsburg Meetings, and probably a lot more. They themselves, or their proteges, are represented in almost every organization you see on the left. They funded many other less important organizations, which will be included in an upcoming 'Rockefeller family timeline'. Another major influence appears to be the Rothschild family. Of course, just as the Rockefellers, this has been repeated endlessly, but I personally had a hard time finding any indisputable evidence that backs up this claim. A lot of research still needs to be done, but here's what I know for sure: Today's chairman of Le Cercle has been a 15 year Rothschild veteran. A previous chairman of Le Cercle had a very dubious father who was one of the most important (hidden) Jews to have built up the state of Israel, side by side with the Rothschilds. The chairman of The European Institute is also a 15 year Rothschild veteran, again the only person of the board directly involved with the Rothschilds. The Rothschild Foundation is one the prime sponsors of the 1001 Club-affiliated Club 21, which funds and manages the so called 'Peace Parks' Foundation. On the board of directors of the Club 21 sits a Rothschild director, who seems to be some kind of descended of a former Rothschild associate / Shell chairman. The foundation of the chairman of the European Institute is involved with this club to a lesser extent. The same goes for the Rockefellers by the way. Other interesting coincidences I noticed is the fact that the only Brit I have come across that has been invited to the Bohemian Grove camp Mandalay is a representative of the Rothschild and Murdoch interests [update: found more. They all revolve around the major City of London interests and the Royal family]. Rupert Murdoch and Jacob de Rothschild are close friends. The only Brit I found that has been invited to the Sun Valley meetings turned out to be another very close associate of Jacob the Rothschild. Jacob de Rothschild has been the president of the London-based Institute for Jewish Policy Research and still is it's honorary president. The exact extent of the influence of the institute I do not know. All I know is that it has been described as 'very influential', that until recently it used to be called the 'Institute for Jewish Affairs', that it is closely affiliated with Chatham House (RIIA), and that the Israeli ambassador pays them a visit once in a while. Another interesting fact is that the Rothschild Foundation donated the money to build the Israeli Supreme Court and the Knesset. Coincidentally, the Supreme Court has a large pyramid with an eye sticking through its roof. What is a very interesting about the Rothschilds is that they indeed seem to do almost everything through a front man. But personally, I have no reason to believe they cannot be touched. For example, in 1981 Mitterrand came to power and immediately nationalized the Rothschild bank. Guy de Rothschild (and Le Cercle, which had been trying to prevent Mitterrand from coming to power) wasn't very happy about that. From that time on, Guy de Rothschild started focusing on his main U.S. company, New Court (now Rothschild Inc.), which was located in Rockefeller Center at the time. There are other indications that the Rothschilds are very influential, but not the ultimate 'puppet masters'. For instance, some of them were captured or killed by the nazis. Others successfully fled. In 1996, Amschel Rothschild was found dead in Paris, just after he was selected to take over the Paris branch of the family. It's a very strange affair and although his aunt and closest friends vehemently denied he was anything near depressed, nobody objected when the death was labeled a suicide. Looking at some of the statements of the Paris investigators there's every indication that Amschel was murdered. It doesn't seem to make much sense that his own family did it. Then they wouldn't have appointed him in the first place. So who was responsible? One other interesting tidbit that actually shows their influence again is the fact that Bill Clinton allowed Sir Evelyn de Rothschild to spent his wedding night in the White House! I still need to do a lot of research on this family before I can post a 'Rothschild family timeline' with all the documentation, but what has been written above is completely documented. One thing that often seems to pop up is the close relationship between the British Royal family and the Rothschild family. If the Rockefellers mainly represent the American interests, the Rothschilds mainly the Zionist interests, then the Royal family is the spider in the British interests. : These three important institutions have absorbed the leadership (or the founders) of all the organizations below it. In all of these high-level discussion groups the Royal family members aren't just figureheads. It has been stated repeatedly that the Royal family has made large investments in many of the largest British multinationals. This may not be proven, but it's actually quite understandable when you have such a huge amount of money laying around. Again, the British royal family members don't seem to be the ultimate 'puppet masters'. Prince Philip and his son Charles have very different personalities. Lord Louis Mountbatten, who was killed by an 'IRA bomb' in 1979, seems to have been assassinated by some right-wing Le Cercle-like interest. Two suspects were arrested even before the bomb went off, one of them was later convicted of the murder and sentenced to life. According to Diana's butler, the Queen mother warned him after Diana's death: "Nobody, Paul has been as close to a member of my family as you have. There are powers at work in this country about which we have no knowledge." Who or what was she referring to when she advised Paul to lay low? Another institute with a lot of power is the Vatican. The Knights of Malta, Opus Dei, and the Jesuits are all operating from out of the the Vatican and are heavily involved with the intelligence agencies of the West. I found many of them in the secret intelligence group Le Cercle. Especially the Order of Malta has a very close relationship with the Monarchs of Europe. It's worldwide head, Andrew Bertie is a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II and attends many of the royal weddings. The full influence of these organizations isn't known, but a large amount of the Knights of Malta and Opus Dei figures have been involved in serious scandals over the years. The Sovereign Military Order of Malta (SMOM) is a descendent of the Knights Hospitaller, the organization to which many of the Templar assets were transferred. It's Protestant version is the Order of St. John, headed by Queen Elizabeth II, which is far less controversial. These two groups are the main interests represented at Le Cercle, which I rate among the most secret organizations we know of today. At least in recent times, the Vatican seems to be the underdog. You also have some royal and industrial families in mainland Europe that seem to have quite a bit of influence on the globalization process. By the way, did you know that the Ordo Draconis is actually a real organization with royal and noble families in it? You don't have to believe it from some second hand source, just visit the website from the royal house of Stewart and look at their European Council of Princes section. You'll find a page about their involvement in the Ordo Draconis. And did you know that they believe in so called 'dragon genes'? I wrote a little bit about it here, which is a small elaboration on statements that were made in the article on Le Cercle. So, as you can see, there's plenty of stuff to investigate. This introduction page is only meant to give an idea of where my personal research is going. Below you can find the names of some of the more important institutions people need to be aware of. Some of them are very secretive. Others are quite well-known, although knowledge usually doesn't extent beyond the name itself. In time, every single organization will be discussed on this site (okay, that might be a bit too ambitious). I left out many of the smaller, regional ones. If you start adding all the world's think tanks and meeting clubs, the list will be at least 5 times as long. And why bother writing them down when most of their chairmen and presidents can be found in maybe a handful of the most important institutions below? Existence proven It's hard to categorize a lot of the institutions below, because you don't always know who's primary purpose they serve. Generally, I tend to look at the country the institute was founded in and who's heading it. As for America, keep in mind that the Carnegie, Rockefeller, Ford, and other foundations have funded a huge amount of very influential non-governmental think tanks. The Brookings Institution, the Aspen Institute, the Foreign Policy Association, and the RAND Corporation are examples of this. Existence not proven (from my own viewpoint) Bormann Organization / Group Martin Bormann was Hitler's most trusted aide and has never been captured. Some believe he oversaw the transfer of most of the Nazi capital into some 750 corporations in Germany, South-America, and the U.S. He received help from someone like Allen Dulles (SMOM, OSS chief, Pilgrims Society member, later CIA director). The purpose was to establish a future 4th Reich. It's quite obvious that this is linked with the Ratlines and the recruitment of Nazi general Reinhard Gehlen in the aftermath of WWII. I suggest you check Paul Manning's 1981 book 'Martin Bormann: Nazi in Exile' and the person who took over his work, Dave Emory. It seems that Paul Manning and his publisher have been punished severely for putting out the book. Chateau des Amerois The castle was owned by Prince Philipp von Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and later by the Solvay family. The Solvay family is one of the leading industrial families of Europe (producer of medicines, plastics, and chemicals like fluor). In their 1996 book, Fritz Springmeier and Cisco Wheeler (very unsure what to think of their information) referred to it as the 'Mothers of Darkness castle'. This obscure castle does indeed exist and has been named in late 1996 and early 1997 by at least one 'X' survivor of the Dutroux affair as a place where nasty things happened. Different witnesses who described child torture, child rape, child molestation, child hunting, and child murder have been declared 'mad', but only after all the original investigators were suddenly replaced. There were also multiple claims of sex parties that were held in different castles. It didn't matter that the witness accounts included many verifiable corroborative details and helped solve a couple of previous child murders. The cover up was so obvious that 300,000 Belgiums went to the streets to protest against the way the investigation was conducted. At least 3 families of the victims have been convinced there is a massive cover up and at least 20 crucial witness have 'committed suicide'. It seems to be very hard to get access to these X-files. Maybe that has to do with the fact that many senior officials have been named as participants in the above crimes, including members of the royal family and at least one former European Commissioner (name hasn't been made public). At the moment, I don't see how Springmeier or Wheeler could have gained access to these secret hearings, but we'll see where this story goes in the future. Important update: I found quite a bit of Belgian individuals who have been accused in 1999 of having been involved in drug & child trafficking. The person who gave the list committed suicide within a year. After doing a small background check it turns out that some of them have conections to, or are members of, the Trilateral Commission, the European Round Table, the leadership of Le Cercle, important individuals of Bilderberg, and the Russian mafia. Solvay SA again played a leading role, just as 2 royal families. And let's not forget individuals closely involved in investigating the Dutroux affair. Then there is one person who supposedly was named in the Dutroux X-files. After looking up the few available details about this person, it turns out that he was probably a Jesuit. Persons with the same (quite unusual) surname appear on the boards of Solvay SA (not again!), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Coca-Cola Enterprises Belgium, and Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild - Genève. Another individual from the past with this surname was head of the Steel Division of the UN European Economic Commission in 1952. He brought Henri Rieben in contact with Jean Monnet, both founders of the European movement. And yet another individual of the past with this surname was a member of the 'Orde Souverain et Militaire du Temple de Jerusalem'. Because I know very little about this subject and much of it is written in French (and Dutch) it will take a lot of time before I might write an article about it. I didn't mention the names, because I first want to verify some details (how the families fit together and what the source of some of the information is). Just keep in mind that Europe is continent waiting to be explored. Another update: It is now clear to me that all the aspects of the 'globalist conspiracy' can be found in Belgium. Expect loads of fireworks in the future. It's beyond shocking. Club of the Isles Could easily be the 1001 Club or possibly the Multinational Chairman's Group, because they share many of the same interests. Executive Intelligence Review mentioned it a couple of times. I asked them about the club, but they don't seem to have that much additional info either. Committee of 26 This group is mentioned in Simon Regan's book 'Who killed Diana?'. The author was informed about this group through his intelligence contacts, including the one who advised him to look into Le Cercle. I quote from his book: "My own security contacts, including the Baroness, had also told me about a highly mysterious organization called the Committee of 26, which is apparently based in Bristol, in England?s West Country. I have never heard of this and can find no other official reference in any file. But it is apparently a super-secret "liaison desk" between the highest echelons of British and American agencies and has the "co-operation" of the French. I was told it was "Old Guard" and worked unilaterally. That is, it was a kind of uncontrolled "super-agency" which answered to no one. I cannot show that this agency even exists... I trust the Baroness, but she was unable to give me any feasible further "chapter and verse." David Icke in his book 'The Biggest Secret' wrote: "Why Bristol? It is a former Knights Templar port and its name has evolved from Barati, the Phoenician goddess. It just so happens that an elite unit of British Intelligence called the Committee of 26 is based there and they use the runway at the British Aerospace complex to fly British and foreign agents in and out of the country... In that period in the 1980s, not only in Bristol, there were strange deaths galore of people at the cutting edge of development in the ?defence? industries. " Committee of 300 The group former MI6 agent John Coleman talked about back in 1992. It's very interesting if you compare the name with the 'Committee of 26' from totally different sources. I read chunks of the book, looking for evidence of its existence, but couldn't find it. I have organized the list of names (google's recent spelling correction is a god sent) and have been able to copy a significant amount of biographies from prominent and less-prominent members from other hidden organizations John Coleman has never talked about. I guess that's a good thing, but as I just said, this doesn't prove anything. I also have trouble believing 'the Olympians' control everything from China to South-Africa. Looking at the names, it's just like all the other hidden organizations, i.e. a high level discussion group. Group 13 & I3 These two are said to be assassination teams from Britain and the U.S. Although there is no conclusive evidence, I am quite certain that both exist. You can find some information about Britain's Group 13 here and some information about the NSA's I3 here. The supposed head of Group 13 turned out to be someone who's background cannot be fully traced, not even by the British Parliament. This person and his allies also infiltrated the boards of many arms companies. When a company, like Astra, isn't useful anymore, they just give themselves huge salaries and run the company into the ground. Knight's Templar (CIA) In his 1977 book 'The Night Watch', former CIA officer David Atlee Phillips wrote on page 123: "...that small circle of well-bred, highly educated adventurers who were known to some in the CIA as the 'Knights Templars' - Allen Dulles, Frank Wisner, Kermit Roosevelt, Tracey Barnes, Dick Bissell, and kindred spirits. Other CIA veterans have confirmed the existence of similar associations within the agency, with names like the "Century group" and the "Gold Key group". The first three have been known members of Le Cercle. Of the first two we know they were involved in recruiting Nazis in the wake of WWII. Kermit Roosevelt helped de Marenches in setting up the Safari Club and led Operation Ajax which brought the Shah to power. I find it very interesting all these small hints to Templar organizations within intelligence groups as Le Cercle, the Committee of 26, and now the CIA. Tavistock Network Said to be a worldwide mind-control network. Haven't studied it and don't really have an opinion about it either. The Tavistock Institute is located in London. You saw it in July 2005 when a bomb on a London bus splattered blood and debris on its facade. John Coleman talked about it. Kay Griggs also mentioned it. The Brotherhood / The Firm Mentioned by Kay Griggs, wife of marine colonel George Griggs. According to Kay, her husband usually referred to the loose network he was part of as 'the Brotherhood' or 'the Firm'. She was also talking about a Zionist clique centered in New York City, which had the unofficial name 'the Joint'. Kay describes how there is a network of transnational criminals involved in all kinds of nasty stuff. This includes drug running, illegal arms trade, sexual perversion, mind control, assassinations, and the conducting of terrorism when deemed necessary. Did you notice that almost every single group we don't know that much about is related to intelligence? We can only guess how much more has been hidden from the public completely. Part 2, UFO organizations If someone thinks the UFO phenomenon is a non-issue, I suggest you take a look at some of the mainstream newspaper articles I gathered here. Whatever it is, the phenomenon is real and it is very likely that secret institutions have been set up to study it. IPU IPU stands for the Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit, which, supposedly, was set up after the February 1942 Battle of Los Angeles incident. In a 1980 document released through a FOIA request, the Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit was part of the Scientific and Technical Branch of the Counterintelligence Directorate. It was dissolved during the late 1950?s and allegedly never reactivated. Their files were surrendered to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). You can find scanned documents and a lot of additional info on Majesticdocuments.com. MJ-12 MJ-12 is said to be a highly secret intelligence agency set up for the purpose of investigating the UFO phenomenon. At the same time they kept all the information from the public. The project was started after the July 1947 UFO wave, followed by a crash in Roswell. Together with the birth of MJ-12 the National Security State was born. Almost anyone who has claimed to have inside information on the group has said that MJ-12 still exists today, although it changes its name once in a while. Many have also added that the group has been privatized, which is a subject that sounds very familiar. There is a large amount of documentation on Majestic 12, although these documents won't be accepted, simply because they are too extraordinary to believe. According to Stanton Friedman, most of the later documents are fake, but the earlier ones stand up to careful scrutiny. The existence of the JASON Group is beyond dispute and an article about them will appear soon. Then there are some societies I won't go into, because they are too 'far out' when there is a complete lack of any evidence they exist. It was erected over a century ago and meets at least 2 or 3 times a year. Still, 99% of the world has never heard of it. We're talking about the Pilgrims Society. An aristocratic Anglo-American dining club who's members keep themselves informed by inviting politicians to make a speech. The primary purpose of this club is to keep the ties between the United States and Britain as strong as possible. The official reason was, and is, that the forefathers of most Americans from the Virginia and New York area emigrated from the British Isles, therefore they share a common heritage. They are blood brothers so to speak. Of course, the obvious reason was to form an unofficial alliance with the United States to improve the strained relations and to vastly increase the powers of the dwindling British empire. The heart of the British empire and the later British Commonwealth became the Pilgrims Society, it's philosophies dominated by the executives of the upcoming mega corporations, largely located in the City of London and the city of New York. The London chapter of the Pilgrims Society was established on July 11, 1902, followed by a New York chapter on January 13, 1903. It's patron is the British monarch, who has plenty of representatives attending the meetings. Usually, a member of the Royal family is attending the London diners. As you'll find out by looking at the membership list, the Pilgrims Society has clearly fused together the business centers of New York and London, together with a large portion of the political centers of both nations. 90 percent of the American members are top-level bankers and businessmen from New York city. Only a couple of Pilgrims own or chair companies with headquarters in Boston or Philadelphia. Businesses that have their headquarters in any other location than this small part of the north-east corner of the United States don't seem to be represented at all (do keep in mind that recent data is sketchy). From Washington, only a few specific government officials are recruited into the Pilgrims Society. Occasionally, officials from outside the UK or US visit the club. In the past, they usually came from countries incorporated in the Empire or Commonwealth. Today... hard to say. We haven't got the information. A mistake often made when people refer to this society, is when they call it the 'Pilgrim Society', because today, this name isn't used anymore. Only in some of the earlier articles you can find this name. The most often used name is the 'Pilgrims Society', sometimes spelled as 'Pilgrim's Society'. You might think this isn't such a big deal, but when you search the internet or some recent archives for the 'Pilgrim Society', you will hardly find any official sources, simply because they all refer to the 'Pilgrims Society'. The name 'Pilgrims Society' is also unique, so you won't confuse it with this one. Let's get one thing straight, the club is secret. It might be one of those what I call 'open-secrets', but it's secret nonetheless. If it wasn't, we would have read about it in the history books, we would know all the details of the meetings, and we would have membership lists in the public domain. On the other hand, it is possible to find quite a bit of information in regular newspaper archives, but you really have to look for it. It takes forever to piece the story together. For example, The Scotsman made numerous references to it in the first half of the century (archives are only available up to 1950 atm). Time Magazine made them much less, but still referred to the club once every few years. After 1958, Time only mentioned the club 2 or 3 times, even though the meetings of the Pilgrims Society continued as usual. Other newspapers in the U.S., like the New York Times, have also referred to it once in a while. For instance, in 1981, they published a speech of Margaret Thatcher and in 1985, they did the same with a speech of George Shultz. The Times of London also mentioned the society a couple of times in the past 10 years, even though it didn't give any details about who's attending. Most other newspapers, including the Scotsman, New York Post, Washington Times, or even the Guardian, seem to have been completely silent about it in the last 5 to 7 years (that's how far the digital archives go back). In other countries it's virtually impossible to get any information on the Pilgrims. Not one large Dutch newspaper has mentioned the name in the past 20 years. References in German or French newspapers are just as uncommon. One thing you actually càn find is different speeches on official websites; One at NATO, another one at the State Department, and yet another one from 1999 on the MoD website. They all deal with one little speech and when you ask for some background information you won't get any replies. And that's strange. Maybe it's done to give people the impression there's nothing unusual about the club. Indeed, looking at the speeches there certainly isn't. All they do is talk about regular pro-NATO politics and kiss up to their "brothers" on the other side of the ocean. Of course, it's probably not because of the speeches that the Pilgrims Society keeps itself out of the public eye. More likely it's because of who's being informed and for what purpose. Also, it's obvious that members discuss a lot of other business among themselves. A little bit more in depth As I already said, those who own or run the major banking houses, law firms and insurance companies in the London and New York area will be invited to join, together with a few very specific government officials. This always includes the president of the United States, the U.S. Secretary of State and the U.S. ambassador to Great Britain. On the right you can see which other delegates traditionally are recruited into Pilgrims. Chancellors, Chief Justices, and Attorney Generals seem to be frequent members also. Occasional exceptions have been made to allow writers, composers and art collectors into the society. An example of that was Mark Twain. The patron of the Pilgrims Society is the king or queen of England and a member from the royal family usually attends the Pilgrim dinners in Great Britain. Several times a year a dinner is planned and the board chooses which members it will invite this time, usually somewhere between 300 and 500. A few additional people are invited to hold a speech on a variety of political topics and someone is made the guest of honor. This guest of honor is usually a new member or a Pilgrim who has accomplished something worth remembering. In addition, the chairman of the Society (in Britain it is Robert M. Worcester atm) might give a speech to the CFR or the RIIA once in a while. As already demonstrated, the speeches are both boring and interesting at the same time. Boring because of their substance, and interesting because they show us that Pilgrims, as a whole, aren't privy to many state secrets. A great example of the cooperation between the London and American Pilgrims is the London Bush House, which was ordered to be built in 1919 by Pilgrim Irving T. Bush, a N.Y. businessman. At the time it was the most expensive building in the world and was meant to be an Anglo-American trade center where buyers could purchase goods in one place. It lost it's original function after a couple of decades, but still exists today as an office to the BBC World Service. Above the entrance there's a large statue, which represents this Anglo-American cooperation. Britain is represented on the left by the lions, the USA is represented on the right by the Eagle. The Celtic cross indicates their common heritage. The torch can represent freedom, wisdom, victory, or something along that line. Below the statue you'll find the inscription "To the friendship of English Speaking Peoples". The Pilgrims Society is allied with the English-Speaking Union, which is an organization that promotes the use of the English language all over the world. The patron is the English queen and the president is prince Philip. The chairman, as far as we know, is always a member of the Pilgrims. The institutions the Pilgrims control All the important members of the 1910 Jekyll Island meeting were Pilgrims; Vanderlip, Strong, Warburg, Davison, Norton, and Aldrich. Senator Aldrich's closest ally in congress, Edward B. Vreeland, was a Pilgrim too, together with his brother. Vreeland helped Aldrich establish a privately owned central bank. Of course, J.P. Morgan, John D. Rockefeller and Jacob Schiff were members also. Keep in mind these people were often competing with each other and weren't necessarily friends, as so many people seem to think. N.Y. FED 'Pilgrim-presidents' Benjamin Strong 1914-1928 George Harrison 1928-1940 Allan Sproul 1941-1956 Alfred Hayes 1956-1975 Paul Volcker 1975-1979 Anthony Solomon 1980-1985 E. Gerald Corrigan 1985-1993 William J. McDonough 1993-2003 Timothy Geithner 2003-present Red = confirmed Pilgrim Pilgrim-presidents of the New York Federal Reserve Bank cover the period from 1914 to 1979. The 4 presidents since then have not been members as far as we know, although that's probably because of a lack of recent data. Pilgrim-chairmen of the New York Federal Reserve cover almost the entire period from the 1920s up to 1990, so we can safely assume that the New York Federal Reserve Bank is owned by the Pilgrims. That's not that unusual, because New York itself is Pilgrims property. Because the Pilgrims have a large influence on Washington politics, it would be interesting to see if they have any members on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, also located in D.C. If we have those names, we can estimate the Pilgrims' level of control over the Federal Open Market Committee. The FOMC is the main body of the Federal Reserve that decides on the monetary policy. The New York FED then carries out those directives through it's daily 'open market operations'. In the words of the official Federal Reserve website that I just gave a link to: "Finally, the Committee [FOMC] must reach a consensus regarding the appropriate course for policy, which is incorporated in a directive to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York?the Bank that executes transactions for the System Open Market Account. The directive is cast in terms designed to provide guidance to the Manager in the conduct of day-to-day open market operations. The directive sets forth the Committee's objectives for long-run growth of certain key monetary and credit aggregates. It also sets forth operating guidelines for the degree of ease or restraint to be sought in reserve conditions and expectations with regard to short-term rates of growth in the monetary aggregates." The FOMC consists of the 7 FED governors, 1 permanent New York FED president, and 4 presidents of the other 11 FED banks that rotate each year. The chairman of the board of governors is also the chairman of the FOMC, and the president of the permanently represented New York FED is the vice chairman of the FOMC. We quote from the same page: "...Traditionally, the Chairman of the Board of Governors is elected Chairman and the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York is elected Vice Chairman..." When sifting through the members list, it turns out that at least 4 of the 13 Federal Reserve chairmen are confirmed Pilgrims (they cover the years 1933-1934 & 1959-1987). Two other chairmen, Eugene Meyer and Alan Greenspan, have all the trademarks of being Pilgrims members. If that could be confirmed, the FED's Board of Governors has had Pilgrims as chairman from at least 1930 to 1934 & from 1959 on to 2005. In any case, the Pilgrims Society seems to be represented a disproportionate amount on the most influential places inside the U.S. monetary system, especially for a society that doesn't want it's existence to be known to the general public. It is likely that at least since 1959 the chairman and vice chairman of the FOMC were Pilgrims, together with the persons carrying out the directives of the FOMC through the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Morgan executives 17 Chase Bank executives 16 Skull & Bones 11 President World Bank 4 (of 10) After analyzing the Pilgrims Society members list of about 360 names (updated in the meantime), I found that the institutions you see on the left were the most often represented. About 75% of this list is American and 25% British (rough estimate). This means that about 1 in 3 of the U.S. members of the Pilgrims Society is a confirmed member of the CFR. Striking is the fact that such a large percentage of CFR members are executive officers. About 50% of all the CFR executive officers have been confirmed members of the Pilgrims Society, which seems to indicate that quite possibly all of them are. I remember looking at an old documentary about the CFR "master conspiracy". The usual stuff came by; banking, the Illuminati and the dollar bill. At the end they showed these concentric rings, indicating the CFR had unknown inner circles. Guess we can now say for sure what the second circle is, counting from the outside. It's the Pilgrims Society and it undeniably shows the close link between American and British foreign policy. Of course, it has long been speculated that the same group that set up the RIIA, set up the CFR, but I was never convinced enough though, because the group connecting both organizations has never been fully identified. The existence of the Round Table, however likely, has never been proven. For now, the Pilgrims Society, a seemingly larger body, is a fine substitute, because it shares many similarities with the "association of helpers" from the Round Table. Read this text from the 1966 book 'Tragedy and Hope - A history of the world in our time', written by Oxford professor Carroll Quigley: "In 1891, Rhodes organized a secret society with members in a "Circle of Initiates" and an outer circle known as the "Association of Helpers" later organized as the Round Table organization. In 1909-1913, they organized semi-secret groups know as Round Table Groups in the chief British dependencies and the United States.. The Round Table Groups were semi-secret discussion and lobbying groups whose original purpose was to federate the English speaking world along lines laid down by Cecil Rhodes. By 1915, Round Table groups existed in seven countries including England, South Africa, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India and the United States. Money for their activities originally came from Cecil Rhodes, J.P. Morgan, the Rockefeller and Whitney families and associates of bankers Lazard Brothers and Morgan, Grenfell and Company. The chief backbone of this organization grew up along the already existing financial cooperation running from the Morgan Bank in New York to a group of international financiers in London led by Lazard Brothers. Lionel Curtis established in England and each dominion a front organization to the existing local Round Table Group. This front organization called the Royal Institute of Public Affairs, had as its nucleus in each area the existing submerged Round Table Group. In New York, it was known as the Council on Foreign Relations and was a front for J.P. Morgan and Company in association with the very small American Round Table Group. The American organizers were dominated by the large number of Morgan "experts" including Lamont and Beer, who had gone to the Paris Peace Conference and there became close friends with the similar group of English "experts" which had been recruited by the Milner group. In fact, the original plans for the Royal Institute and the Council on Foreign Relations. In 1928, the Council on Foreign Relations was dominated by the associates of the Morgan bank. Closely allied with this Morgan influence were a small group of Wall Street lawyers whose chief figures were Elihu Root, John W. Davis, the Dulles Brothers, John J. McCloy... ...There does exist and has existed for a generation, an international Anglophile network which operates to some extent in the way the Radical Right believes the Communists act. If we forget about the other groups, the description of the U.S. and U.K. Round Table Groups as submerged nucleuses of respectively the CFR and the RIIA is the perfect description of the Pilgrims Society. Also, the only name of a person in the quote above, that is not represented in my incomplete Pilgrims members list, is Lionel Curtis. All the other names are confirmed Pilgrims. And what is said here about the large number of Morgan representatives is something I also immediately noticed when I was filling in all the biographies. Even though Rockefeller interests, especially in later times, were just as dominant, the history of the Morgan family really shows their ties to England through George Peabody and Junius S. Morgan. At the turn of the century, the Morgans wielded enormous power over the United States economy [1]. Besides the organizations I put in the table above, you will also find that institutions like the Atlantic Institute for International Affairs, Bilderberg, the Bohemian Grove, the Trilateral Commission, the Brookings Institution, the Ford Foundation, the Ditchley Foundations, the Fabian Society, the Japan Society, the Asia Society, the American-Australian Association, and some others, are quite frequently represented. I didn't specifically look for these institutions though, simply because it takes me too much time. Often, these institutes aren't mentioned in the bios of the person you're researching. The reason that you find quite a few Skull & Bones members (or members who have family in Skull & bones) in the Pilgrims Society is probably because Yale is located very close to the north of New York. Don't kid yourself however, 20 year old boys don't rule anything. You'll also find at least 5 Scroll & Key members and many more Yale students who haven't been into any society. But as far as I can see the Pilgrims Society is open to anyone who learns enough, works enough, and winds up in the right place for a Pilgrims invitation. Harvard and Columbia are other common universities where Pilgrims have studied. Involvement of the Pilgrims over the last 100 years 1906 - Pilgrims are involved in the secret Algeciras Conference to settle a dispute among the British, Germans, and French about the division of Morocco. 1913 - The earlier mentioned establishment of the Federal Reserve and of course the 1910 Jekyll Island meeting that preceded it. 1917 - Some Pilgrims are said to have been financing the Communist revolution of 1917. Most is known about the partners of Kuhn, Loeb & Co.; Pilgrims Jacob Schiff, Paul Warburg and Otto Kahn. 1919 - Many Pilgrims played an important role in the Versailles peace conferences following WWI. In all the history books I've seen, only the discussions of the 'big three', Woodrow Wilson, Lloyd George and Georges Clemenceau, are emphasized. I'm still looking for all the names involved, but I've already seen quite a few Pilgrims and suspected Pilgrims. In any case, Robert Cecil, chairman of the Supreme Economic Council of the Versailles Peace Treaty was a member. In the same year, he was the chairman of the committee that established the Royal Institute of International Affairs. 1924 - After the German economy was completely taken apart and they couldn't pay their imposed debts anymore, the Reparations Commission Committee of Experts was set up. President Coolidge appointed Pilgrim Charles G. Dawes as chairman. The committee comes up with the so called 'Dawes-plan'. 1927 - It is said that Pilgrim Benjamin Strong (head FED) and Pilgrim Montagu Norman (head Bank of England) had at least one secret meeting in July of this year with their friend Hjalmar Schacht of the German Reichsbank. 1930 - The Young plan, which is named after committee chairman and Pilgrim Owen D. Young, is introduced as a follow up of the Pilgrims concocted Dawes plan, because Germany still can't pay their debts. Hjalmar Schacht doesn't agree with the reparations and quits as the head of the German Reichsbank. The same year Schacht becomes a Fascist, starts bringing all the German industrialists together and becomes the most crucial person for bringing Hitler to power in 1933. 1933 and on - J.P. Morgan and Rockefeller associates are financing Nazi germany. Pilgrims Watson and Watson Jr. of IBM were also involved. Pilgrim Averell Harriman was involved. Ford was involved, and looking at the prominent presence of the Ford Foundation in the Pilgrims Society, he was probably a member also. 1934 - Because general Smedley Butler exposes the planned coup, FDR is not thrown over and replaced by a fascist government. The persons financing various fascist elements turn out to be the Pilgrims Morgan jr., the du Ponts, Louis S. Cates through Phelps-Dodge company, and undoubtedly many other, but unconfirmed, Pilgrims. 1945 - Nazis, Knights of Malta (SMOM), and elements in the OSS create the so called 'Vatican rat lines', through which thousands of Nazis are smuggled into Spain, South-Africa, and South-America. Pilgrim and SMOM member Allen Dulles played a large role in this project. He also plays a crucial role in releasing and recruiting Nazi intelligence chief Reinhard Gehlen (Le Cercle) so this person can establish the Gehlen Organization. This Gehlen Org becomes the eyes and ears of the CIA in eastern Europe. Reinhard recruits many serious nazis in his organization. 1946 - Pilgrim Francis Beverly Biddle was one of the four primary judges at the Nuremberg trials representing the United States. I'll bet the British judge (and president) of the trials was a member of the British Pilgrims. 1947 - Pilgrims Society member, five-star general and U.S. Secretary of State George C. Marshall introduces his European Recovery Program (ERP). around 1948 - Pilgrim John J. McCloy oversees the release of Fritz Thyssen, Hjalmar Schacht, Friedrich Flick and Alfred Krupp. They are the main industrialists who built up the Nazi war machine and are close associates of different Pilgrims Society members. 1949 - Pilgrims member and ambassador Lewis Williams Douglas had a daughter, Sharman Douglas, who, according to a very sure ITV (competitor of the BBC), had a 2-year lesbian affair with Queen Elizabeth II's younger sister, Princess Margaret Windsor. Sharman also married Andrew Hay of the Pilgrims. (Normally I wouldn't dive into tabloid topics, but this is just too funny to pass over) 1951 - General Douglas MacArthur, who has just driven back the North-Koreans, is removed from his command when he doesn't accept the decision from the US government to not attack the Chinese forces. Pilgrims Harry Truman, Dean Acheson and George C. Marshall are his main adversaries on this issue. MacArthur is replaced by Pilgrim Matthew B. Ridgway. Senator McCarthy attacks Truman, Acheson and Marshall for being in the communist camp. 1954 - Some of the earliest invites to the Bilderberg conference are Pilgrims Society members; David Rockefeller, George Ball, and Henry Heinz. 1961 - Howard Hughes, owner of Trans World Airlines, is charging Pilgrim Charles C. Tillinghast, Jr., the president of his company, with conspiring with others to take over the ownership the company. 1963 - Pilgrims John J. McCloy and Allen Dulles are members of the Warren Commission. Gerald Ford, a future honorary Pilgrim, is a third member. 1965-1973 - During the Vietnam war, Pilgrim Henry Kissinger is the chief US negotiator for the communist regimes. At the same time, Kissinger and many of his Pilgrims Society buddies were investing massive amounts of capital into the Soviet Union, even though this country continued to supply about 50% of North-Vietnams military arms. Of course, these were allowed to enter North-Vietnam almost unobstructed, because the US government was afraid for an escalation of the conflict if Haiphong harbor was closed off and bombed into oblivion. Pilgrims Society members controlled at least some of the institutions that had to check the goods that were imported into the USSR. 1973 - Pilgrim Edward W. Simon was chairman of the President's Oil Policy Committee from February to December of 1973 (oil crisis started in October in the midst of the Yom Kippur war). He also was an administrator of the Federal Energy Office since December 1973 and was charged with the responsibility of minimizing the effects of the energy crisis and preventing future crises (decided the oil prices and the distribution). Together with Pilgrim Henry Kissinger he was the most important speaker of the 1974 International Energy Conference. In 1973, Henry Kissinger first informed the Pilgrims about the creation of an "International Energy group", which became the International Energy Agency. 1975 - Pilgrim Nelson Rockefeller heads the ' U.S. President's Commission on CIA activities within the United States'. It was created in response to a December 1974 report in The New York Times that the CIA had conducted illegal domestic activities, including experiments on U.S. citizens, during the 1960s. The commission was, among other things, responsible for the investigation and publication of Project MKULTRA, a CIA mind control study. 1992 - Pilgrim Lord Bingham of Cornhill heads an inquiry into the Bank of England to find out their responsibility in the BCCI drug laundering scandal. Turns out the Bank of England was just a bit lazy, but didn't do anything on purpose. The persons that owned the BCCI were mainly 1001 Club members; Agha Hasan Abedi, Salem Bin Laden, and Kalid bin Mahfouz, possibly more. Lord Bingham became a member of the very elite Order of Garter in 2005. Some other persons involved with the BCCI scandal were members of the secret international intelligence group Le Cercle. 2001 - Henry Kissinger, who was picked as the first chairman of the 9/11 commission, was a Pilgrim. The old vice-chairman of the 9/11 Commission, George John Mitchell, became a director of the CFR in 1995, so chances are very substantial he's a Pilgrim too. The new chairman, Thomas H. Kean, is from a very prominent New Jersey family and has been a chairman of the Carnegie Foundation, so don't be surprised if it turns out that he also attends Pilgrims dinners (or 1001 Club meetings in his case). More rumors concerning 9/11 and likely Pilgrims exist, but as plausible as some of them sound, I won't go into them, simply because I don't trust the researchers this information came from. 2004 - Pilgrims Society member Lord Peter Inge is part of a five-member panel that looks into the gathered intelligence that was used to justify an invasion in Iraq the year before. All 5 are Privy Councillors and just as the panel's chairman, Lord Inge is a knight of the Order of the Garter. * As you can see, when we move into the eighties and nineties, information on the Pilgrims becomes quite scarce. Conclusion It is obvious that the Pilgrims Society has a very interesting history and that it's membership consists of very influential people. Above all, it seems that the Pilgrims Society represents that old dream of Cecil Rhodes to create a worldwide English-speaking free-trade zone (his exact words), with the dominant position for the Anglo-Saxon race. Rhodes had also been speculating about a network of secret societies that had to absorb the wealth of the world. In fact, the enormous fortune he left behind was probably used to set up the Pilgrims Society just 4 months after he died. But especially these days, 'free-trade' policies seem to be nothing more than a tool by which western companies wrestle control of foreign markets. This makes it hard to say if their ultimate goal of 'global peace' really is that noble. In the course the 20th century, especially after WWII, many organizations with similar objectives have sprung up worldwide. Among them are Bilderberg, the Trilateral Commission, the British Invisibles, the European Round Table, the Group of thirty, the European Institute, the Trans-Atlantic Business Dialogue, the 1001 Club, the EU-Japan Business Dialogue, the Pacific Basin Economic Council, Le Cercle, the Multinational Chairman's Group, and dozens more. In every single case, British and American interests are represented more than adequately, at the very least in leadership positions. Even though recent names are in rather short supply it has already become obvious that we can find most, if not all of these leaders back in the Pilgrims Society. This indicates that we are dealing with one of the most important privately funded institutions of the globalist movement. But, like I already said, let's not exaggerate by saying that we found 'the puppet masters' or something like that. At any time, there are loads of intelligence operations going on most of the well over a 1000 members know nothing about. Also, looking at the bios, it's obvious that there is considerable infighting going on and that different members can't get along with each other at all. So, as for now, I suggest that we focus our energy on gathering as many names as possible. Then the picture will become clear by itself. Two other well known 'secret societies' are Bilderberg and the Trilateral Commission. The thing is, when you really research these institutes you find that members often disagree with each other, there's considerable infighting, and most members don't seem to be privy to any information from the black and deep black programs. This is the reason I always wondered how people went from the above organizations straight to the very undefined concept of the 'Illuminati'. Of course, I can see something very strange is going on. For some reason it's possible to suppress information about humanities past, the UFO phenomenon, alternative energy, the supernatural, high profile assassinations, or the true cause of many terrorist attacks. Rather than focusing on one tiny subject, PEHI will attempt to answer how all the above is possible and which persons and institutes could be responsible for it. This site will be fundamentally different than most. We don't need another rewrite combined with another religiously biased opinion, which doesn't stroke with any of the evidence. We need names of institutions, names of members, and as much background information about both as possible. We need organized digital membership lists in which all this information is available for any purpose at any time. Biographies should be included and must be updated continually in all of these lists as new information becomes available. I can already guarantee you that when this is done on all the globalist societies, one by one, we will see patterns in the leadership and we can pick out those people that need to be investigated still further. If there are any 'puppet masters' (and I'm not so sure about that at all), this is the only way to pick them out and to have a rock solid foundation of research no one can dispute. General oversight At this introduction page I will give you an idea of what I'm working on at the moment. It's not meant to back up every claim with a list of sources. This is something that will be done at the 'in depth' section of the website. On the left I have organized a lot of the most influential privately funded discussion forums in the world. Already it is clear that a few interests dominate the scene. The first one is the infamous Rockefeller family. This family played a major role in setting up and / or maintaining most of the American-based institutions: the Americas Society, the Asia Society, the Japan Society, the CFR, and the Trilateral Commission. As far as I know, they also funded the Atlantic Institute for International Affairs and the Williamsburg Meetings, and probably a lot more. They themselves, or their proteges, are represented in almost every organization you see on the left. They funded many other less important organizations, which will be included in an upcoming 'Rockefeller family timeline'. Another major influence appears to be the Rothschild family. Of course, just as the Rockefellers, this has been repeated endlessly, but I personally had a hard time finding any indisputable evidence that backs up this claim. A lot of research still needs to be done, but here's what I know for sure: Today's chairman of Le Cercle has been a 15 year Rothschild veteran. A previous chairman of Le Cercle had a very dubious father who was one of the most important (hidden) Jews to have built up the state of Israel, side by side with the Rothschilds. The chairman of The European Institute is also a 15 year Rothschild veteran, again the only person of the board directly involved with the Rothschilds. The Rothschild Foundation is one the prime sponsors of the 1001 Club-affiliated Club 21, which funds and manages the so called 'Peace Parks' Foundation. On the board of directors of the Club 21 sits a Rothschild director, who seems to be some kind of descended of a former Rothschild associate / Shell chairman. The foundation of the chairman of the European Institute is involved with this club to a lesser extent. The same goes for the Rockefellers by the way. Other interesting coincidences I noticed is the fact that the only Brit I have come across that has been invited to the Bohemian Grove camp Mandalay is a representative of the Rothschild and Murdoch interests [update: found more. They all revolve around the major City of London interests and the Royal family]. Rupert Murdoch and Jacob de Rothschild are close friends. The only Brit I found that has been invited to the Sun Valley meetings turned out to be another very close associate of Jacob the Rothschild. Jacob de Rothschild has been the president of the London-based Institute for Jewish Policy Research and still is it's honorary president. The exact extent of the influence of the institute I do not know. All I know is that it has been described as 'very influential', that until recently it used to be called the 'Institute for Jewish Affairs', that it is closely affiliated with Chatham House (RIIA), and that the Israeli ambassador pays them a visit once in a while. Another interesting fact is that the Rothschild Foundation donated the money to build the Israeli Supreme Court and the Knesset. Coincidentally, the Supreme Court has a large pyramid with an eye sticking through its roof. What is a very interesting about the Rothschilds is that they indeed seem to do almost everything through a front man. But personally, I have no reason to believe they cannot be touched. For example, in 1981 Mitterrand came to power and immediately nationalized the Rothschild bank. Guy de Rothschild (and Le Cercle, which had been trying to prevent Mitterrand from coming to power) wasn't very happy about that. From that time on, Guy de Rothschild started focusing on his main U.S. company, New Court (now Rothschild Inc.), which was located in Rockefeller Center at the time. There are other indications that the Rothschilds are very influential, but not the ultimate 'puppet masters'. For instance, some of them were captured or killed by the nazis. Others successfully fled. In 1996, Amschel Rothschild was found dead in Paris, just after he was selected to take over the Paris branch of the family. It's a very strange affair and although his aunt and closest friends vehemently denied he was anything near depressed, nobody objected when the death was labeled a suicide. Looking at some of the statements of the Paris investigators there's every indication that Amschel was murdered. It doesn't seem to make much sense that his own family did it. Then they wouldn't have appointed him in the first place. So who was responsible? One other interesting tidbit that actually shows their influence again is the fact that Bill Clinton allowed Sir Evelyn de Rothschild to spent his wedding night in the White House! I still need to do a lot of research on this family before I can post a 'Rothschild family timeline' with all the documentation, but what has been written above is completely documented. One thing that often seems to pop up is the close relationship between the British Royal family and the Rothschild family. If the Rockefellers mainly represent the American interests, the Rothschilds mainly the Zionist interests, then the Royal family is the spider in the British interests. : These three important institutions have absorbed the leadership (or the founders) of all the organizations below it. In all of these high-level discussion groups the Royal family members aren't just figureheads. It has been stated repeatedly that the Royal family has made large investments in many of the largest British multinationals. This may not be proven, but it's actually quite understandable when you have such a huge amount of money laying around. Again, the British royal family members don't seem to be the ultimate 'puppet masters'. Prince Philip and his son Charles have very different personalities. Lord Louis Mountbatten, who was killed by an 'IRA bomb' in 1979, seems to have been assassinated by some right-wing Le Cercle-like interest. Two suspects were arrested even before the bomb went off, one of them was later convicted of the murder and sentenced to life. According to Diana's butler, the Queen mother warned him after Diana's death: "Nobody, Paul has been as close to a member of my family as you have. There are powers at work in this country about which we have no knowledge." Who or what was she referring to when she advised Paul to lay low? Another institute with a lot of power is the Vatican. The Knights of Malta, Opus Dei, and the Jesuits are all operating from out of the the Vatican and are heavily involved with the intelligence agencies of the West. I found many of them in the secret intelligence group Le Cercle. Especially the Order of Malta has a very close relationship with the Monarchs of Europe. It's worldwide head, Andrew Bertie is a cousin of Queen Elizabeth II and attends many of the royal weddings. The full influence of these organizations isn't known, but a large amount of the Knights of Malta and Opus Dei figures have been involved in serious scandals over the years. The Sovereign Military Order of Malta (SMOM) is a descendent of the Knights Hospitaller, the organization to which many of the Templar assets were transferred. It's Protestant version is the Order of St. John, headed by Queen Elizabeth II, which is far less controversial. These two groups are the main interests represented at Le Cercle, which I rate among the most secret organizations we know of today. At least in recent times, the Vatican seems to be the underdog. You also have some royal and industrial families in mainland Europe that seem to have quite a bit of influence on the globalization process. By the way, did you know that the Ordo Draconis is actually a real organization with royal and noble families in it? You don't have to believe it from some second hand source, just visit the website from the royal house of Stewart and look at their European Council of Princes section. You'll find a page about their involvement in the Ordo Draconis. And did you know that they believe in so called 'dragon genes'? I wrote a little bit about it here, which is a small elaboration on statements that were made in the article on Le Cercle. So, as you can see, there's plenty of stuff to investigate. This introduction page is only meant to give an idea of where my personal research is going. Below you can find the names of some of the more important institutions people need to be aware of. Some of them are very secretive. Others are quite well-known, although knowledge usually doesn't extent beyond the name itself. In time, every single organization will be discussed on this site (okay, that might be a bit too ambitious). I left out many of the smaller, regional ones. If you start adding all the world's think tanks and meeting clubs, the list will be at least 5 times as long. And why bother writing them down when most of their chairmen and presidents can be found in maybe a handful of the most important institutions below? Existence proven It's hard to categorize a lot of the institutions below, because you don't always know who's primary purpose they serve. Generally, I tend to look at the country the institute was founded in and who's heading it. As for America, keep in mind that the Carnegie, Rockefeller, Ford, and other foundations have funded a huge amount of very influential non-governmental think tanks. The Brookings Institution, the Aspen Institute, the Foreign Policy Association, and the RAND Corporation are examples of this. Existence not proven (from my own viewpoint) Bormann Organization / Group Martin Bormann was Hitler's most trusted aide and has never been captured. Some believe he oversaw the transfer of most of the Nazi capital into some 750 corporations in Germany, South-America, and the U.S. He received help from someone like Allen Dulles (SMOM, OSS chief, Pilgrims Society member, later CIA director). The purpose was to establish a future 4th Reich. It's quite obvious that this is linked with the Ratlines and the recruitment of Nazi general Reinhard Gehlen in the aftermath of WWII. I suggest you check Paul Manning's 1981 book 'Martin Bormann: Nazi in Exile' and the person who took over his work, Dave Emory. It seems that Paul Manning and his publisher have been punished severely for putting out the book. Chateau des Amerois The castle was owned by Prince Philipp von Saxe-Coburg-Gotha and later by the Solvay family. The Solvay family is one of the leading industrial families of Europe (producer of medicines, plastics, and chemicals like fluor). In their 1996 book, Fritz Springmeier and Cisco Wheeler (very unsure what to think of their information) referred to it as the 'Mothers of Darkness castle'. This obscure castle does indeed exist and has been named in late 1996 and early 1997 by at least one 'X' survivor of the Dutroux affair as a place where nasty things happened. Different witnesses who described child torture, child rape, child molestation, child hunting, and child murder have been declared 'mad', but only after all the original investigators were suddenly replaced. There were also multiple claims of sex parties that were held in different castles. It didn't matter that the witness accounts included many verifiable corroborative details and helped solve a couple of previous child murders. The cover up was so obvious that 300,000 Belgiums went to the streets to protest against the way the investigation was conducted. At least 3 families of the victims have been convinced there is a massive cover up and at least 20 crucial witness have 'committed suicide'. It seems to be very hard to get access to these X-files. Maybe that has to do with the fact that many senior officials have been named as participants in the above crimes, including members of the royal family and at least one former European Commissioner (name hasn't been made public). At the moment, I don't see how Springmeier or Wheeler could have gained access to these secret hearings, but we'll see where this story goes in the future. Important update: I found quite a bit of Belgian individuals who have been accused in 1999 of having been involved in drug & child trafficking. The person who gave the list committed suicide within a year. After doing a small background check it turns out that some of them have conections to, or are members of, the Trilateral Commission, the European Round Table, the leadership of Le Cercle, important individuals of Bilderberg, and the Russian mafia. Solvay SA again played a leading role, just as 2 royal families. And let's not forget individuals closely involved in investigating the Dutroux affair. Then there is one person who supposedly was named in the Dutroux X-files. After looking up the few available details about this person, it turns out that he was probably a Jesuit. Persons with the same (quite unusual) surname appear on the boards of Solvay SA (not again!), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Coca-Cola Enterprises Belgium, and Banque Privée Edmond de Rothschild - Genève. Another individual from the past with this surname was head of the Steel Division of the UN European Economic Commission in 1952. He brought Henri Rieben in contact with Jean Monnet, both founders of the European movement. And yet another individual of the past with this surname was a member of the 'Orde Souverain et Militaire du Temple de Jerusalem'. Because I know very little about this subject and much of it is written in French (and Dutch) it will take a lot of time before I might write an article about it. I didn't mention the names, because I first want to verify some details (how the families fit together and what the source of some of the information is). Just keep in mind that Europe is continent waiting to be explored. Another update: It is now clear to me that all the aspects of the 'globalist conspiracy' can be found in Belgium. Expect loads of fireworks in the future. It's beyond shocking. Club of the Isles Could easily be the 1001 Club or possibly the Multinational Chairman's Group, because they share many of the same interests. Executive Intelligence Review mentioned it a couple of times. I asked them about the club, but they don't seem to have that much additional info either. Committee of 26 This group is mentioned in Simon Regan's book 'Who killed Diana?'. The author was informed about this group through his intelligence contacts, including the one who advised him to look into Le Cercle. I quote from his book: "My own security contacts, including the Baroness, had also told me about a highly mysterious organization called the Committee of 26, which is apparently based in Bristol, in England?s West Country. I have never heard of this and can find no other official reference in any file. But it is apparently a super-secret "liaison desk" between the highest echelons of British and American agencies and has the "co-operation" of the French. I was told it was "Old Guard" and worked unilaterally. That is, it was a kind of uncontrolled "super-agency" which answered to no one. I cannot show that this agency even exists... I trust the Baroness, but she was unable to give me any feasible further "chapter and verse." David Icke in his book 'The Biggest Secret' wrote: "Why Bristol? It is a former Knights Templar port and its name has evolved from Barati, the Phoenician goddess. It just so happens that an elite unit of British Intelligence called the Committee of 26 is based there and they use the runway at the British Aerospace complex to fly British and foreign agents in and out of the country... In that period in the 1980s, not only in Bristol, there were strange deaths galore of people at the cutting edge of development in the ?defence? industries. " Committee of 300 The group former MI6 agent John Coleman talked about back in 1992. It's very interesting if you compare the name with the 'Committee of 26' from totally different sources. I read chunks of the book, looking for evidence of its existence, but couldn't find it. I have organized the list of names (google's recent spelling correction is a god sent) and have been able to copy a significant amount of biographies from prominent and less-prominent members from other hidden organizations John Coleman has never talked about. I guess that's a good thing, but as I just said, this doesn't prove anything. I also have trouble believing 'the Olympians' control everything from China to South-Africa. Looking at the names, it's just like all the other hidden organizations, i.e. a high level discussion group. Group 13 & I3 These two are said to be assassination teams from Britain and the U.S. Although there is no conclusive evidence, I am quite certain that both exist. You can find some information about Britain's Group 13 here and some information about the NSA's I3 here. The supposed head of Group 13 turned out to be someone who's background cannot be fully traced, not even by the British Parliament. This person and his allies also infiltrated the boards of many arms companies. When a company, like Astra, isn't useful anymore, they just give themselves huge salaries and run the company into the ground. Knight's Templar (CIA) In his 1977 book 'The Night Watch', former CIA officer David Atlee Phillips wrote on page 123: "...that small circle of well-bred, highly educated adventurers who were known to some in the CIA as the 'Knights Templars' - Allen Dulles, Frank Wisner, Kermit Roosevelt, Tracey Barnes, Dick Bissell, and kindred spirits. Other CIA veterans have confirmed the existence of similar associations within the agency, with names like the "Century group" and the "Gold Key group". The first three have been known members of Le Cercle. Of the first two we know they were involved in recruiting Nazis in the wake of WWII. Kermit Roosevelt helped de Marenches in setting up the Safari Club and led Operation Ajax which brought the Shah to power. I find it very interesting all these small hints to Templar organizations within intelligence groups as Le Cercle, the Committee of 26, and now the CIA. Tavistock Network Said to be a worldwide mind-control network. Haven't studied it and don't really have an opinion about it either. The Tavistock Institute is located in London. You saw it in July 2005 when a bomb on a London bus splattered blood and debris on its facade. John Coleman talked about it. Kay Griggs also mentioned it. The Brotherhood / The Firm Mentioned by Kay Griggs, wife of marine colonel George Griggs. According to Kay, her husband usually referred to the loose network he was part of as 'the Brotherhood' or 'the Firm'. She was also talking about a Zionist clique centered in New York City, which had the unofficial name 'the Joint'. Kay describes how there is a network of transnational criminals involved in all kinds of nasty stuff. This includes drug running, illegal arms trade, sexual perversion, mind control, assassinations, and the conducting of terrorism when deemed necessary. Did you notice that almost every single group we don't know that much about is related to intelligence? We can only guess how much more has been hidden from the public completely. Part 2, UFO organizations If someone thinks the UFO phenomenon is a non-issue, I suggest you take a look at some of the mainstream newspaper articles I gathered here. Whatever it is, the phenomenon is real and it is very likely that secret institutions have been set up to study it. IPU IPU stands for the Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit, which, supposedly, was set up after the February 1942 Battle of Los Angeles incident. In a 1980 document released through a FOIA request, the Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit was part of the Scientific and Technical Branch of the Counterintelligence Directorate. It was dissolved during the late 1950?s and allegedly never reactivated. Their files were surrendered to the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI). You can find scanned documents and a lot of additional info on Majesticdocuments.com. MJ-12 MJ-12 is said to be a highly secret intelligence agency set up for the purpose of investigating the UFO phenomenon. At the same time they kept all the information from the public. The project was started after the July 1947 UFO wave, followed by a crash in Roswell. Together with the birth of MJ-12 the National Security State was born. Almost anyone who has claimed to have inside information on the group has said that MJ-12 still exists today, although it changes its name once in a while. Many have also added that the group has been privatized, which is a subject that sounds very familiar. There is a large amount of documentation on Majestic 12, although these documents won't be accepted, simply because they are too extraordinary to believe. According to Stanton Friedman, most of the later documents are fake, but the earlier ones stand up to careful scrutiny. You can find scanned documents and a lot of additional info on Majesticdocuments.com. It is said that certain JASON studies have been conducted for MJ-12. The existence of the JASON Group is beyond dispute and an article about them will appear soon. Then there are some societies I won't go into, because they are too 'far out' when there is a complete lack of any evidence they exist. It was erected over a century ago and meets at least 2 or 3 times a year. Still, 99% of the world has never heard of it. We're talking about the Pilgrims Society. An aristocratic Anglo-American dining club who's members keep themselves informed by inviting politicians to make a speech. The primary purpose of this club is to keep the ties between the United States and Britain as strong as possible. The official reason was, and is, that the forefathers of most Americans from the Virginia and New York area emigrated from the British Isles, therefore they share a common heritage. They are blood brothers so to speak. Of course, the obvious reason was to form an unofficial alliance with the United States to improve the strained relations and to vastly increase the powers of the dwindling British empire. The heart of the British empire and the later British Commonwealth became the Pilgrims Society, it's philosophies dominated by the executives of the upcoming mega corporations, largely located in the City of London and the city of New York. The London chapter of the Pilgrims Society was established on July 11, 1902, followed by a New York chapter on January 13, 1903. It's patron is the British monarch, who has plenty of representatives attending the meetings. Usually, a member of the Royal family is attending the London diners. As you'll find out by looking at the membership list, the Pilgrims Society has clearly fused together the business centers of New York and London, together with a large portion of the political centers of both nations. 90 percent of the American members are top-level bankers and businessmen from New York city. Only a couple of Pilgrims own or chair companies with headquarters in Boston or Philadelphia. Businesses that have their headquarters in any other location than this small part of the north-east corner of the United States don't seem to be represented at all (do keep in mind that recent data is sketchy). From Washington, only a few specific government officials are recruited into the Pilgrims Society. Occasionally, officials from outside the UK or US visit the club. In the past, they usually came from countries incorporated in the Empire or Commonwealth. Today... hard to say. We haven't got the information. A mistake often made when people refer to this society, is when they call it the 'Pilgrim Society', because today, this name isn't used anymore. Only in some of the earlier articles you can find this name. The most often used name is the 'Pilgrims Society', sometimes spelled as 'Pilgrim's Society'. You might think this isn't such a big deal, but when you search the internet or some recent archives for the 'Pilgrim Society', you will hardly find any official sources, simply because they all refer to the 'Pilgrims Society'. The name 'Pilgrims Society' is also unique, so you won't confuse it with this one. Let's get one thing straight, the club is secret. It might be one of those what I call 'open-secrets', but it's secret nonetheless. If it wasn't, we would have read about it in the history books, we would know all the details of the meetings, and we would have membership lists in the public domain. On the other hand, it is possible to find quite a bit of information in regular newspaper archives, but you really have to look for it. It takes forever to piece the story together. For example, The Scotsman made numerous references to it in the first half of the century (archives are only available up to 1950 atm). Time Magazine made them much less, but still referred to the club once every few years. After 1958, Time only mentioned the club 2 or 3 times, even though the meetings of the Pilgrims Society continued as usual. Other newspapers in the U.S., like the New York Times, have also referred to it once in a while. For instance, in 1981, they published a speech of Margaret Thatcher and in 1985, they did the same with a speech of George Shultz. The Times of London also mentioned the society a couple of times in the past 10 years, even though it didn't give any details about who's attending. Most other newspapers, including the Scotsman, New York Post, Washington Times, or even the Guardian, seem to have been completely silent about it in the last 5 to 7 years (that's how far the digital archives go back). In other countries it's virtually impossible to get any information on the Pilgrims. Not one large Dutch newspaper has mentioned the name in the past 20 years. References in German or French newspapers are just as uncommon. One thing you actually càn find is different speeches on official websites; One at NATO, another one at the State Department, and yet another one from 1999 on the MoD website. They all deal with one little speech and when you ask for some background information you won't get any replies. And that's strange. Maybe it's done to give people the impression there's nothing unusual about the club. Indeed, looking at the speeches there certainly isn't. All they do is talk about regular pro-NATO politics and kiss up to their "brothers" on the other side of the ocean. Of course, it's probably not because of the speeches that the Pilgrims Society keeps itself out of the public eye. More likely it's because of who's being informed and for what purpose. Also, it's obvious that members discuss a lot of other business among themselves. A little bit more in depth As I already said, those who own or run the major banking houses, law firms and insurance companies in the London and New York area will be invited to join, together with a few very specific government officials. This always includes the president of the United States, the U.S. Secretary of State and the U.S. ambassador to Great Britain. On the right you can see which other delegates traditionally are recruited into Pilgrims. Chancellors, Chief Justices, and Attorney Generals seem to be frequent members also. Occasional exceptions have been made to allow writers, composers and art collectors into the society. An example of that was Mark Twain. The patron of the Pilgrims Society is the king or queen of England and a member from the royal family usually attends the Pilgrim dinners in Great Britain. Several times a year a dinner is planned and the board chooses which members it will invite this time, usually somewhere between 300 and 500. A few additional people are invited to hold a speech on a variety of political topics and someone is made the guest of honor. This guest of honor is usually a new member or a Pilgrim who has accomplished something worth remembering. In addition, the chairman of the Society (in Britain it is Robert M. Worcester atm) might give a speech to the CFR or the RIIA once in a while. As already demonstrated, the speeches are both boring and interesting at the same time. Boring because of their substance, and interesting because they show us that Pilgrims, as a whole, aren't privy to many state secrets. A great example of the cooperation between the London and American Pilgrims is the London Bush House, which was ordered to be built in 1919 by Pilgrim Irving T. Bush, a N.Y. businessman. At the time it was the most expensive building in the world and was meant to be an Anglo-American trade center where buyers could purchase goods in one place. It lost it's original function after a couple of decades, but still exists today as an office to the BBC World Service. Above the entrance there's a large statue, which represents this Anglo-American cooperation. Britain is represented on the left by the lions, the USA is represented on the right by the Eagle. The Celtic cross indicates their common heritage. The torch can represent freedom, wisdom, victory, or something along that line. Below the statue you'll find the inscription "To the friendship of English Speaking Peoples". The Pilgrims Society is allied with the English-Speaking Union, which is an organization that promotes the use of the English language all over the world. The patron is the English queen and the president is prince Philip. The chairman, as far as we know, is always a member of the Pilgrims. The institutions the Pilgrims control All the important members of the 1910 Jekyll Island meeting were Pilgrims; Vanderlip, Strong, Warburg, Davison, Norton, and Aldrich. Senator Aldrich's closest ally in congress, Edward B. Vreeland, was a Pilgrim too, together with his brother. Vreeland helped Aldrich establish a privately owned central bank. Of course, J.P. Morgan, John D. Rockefeller and Jacob Schiff were members also. Keep in mind these people were often competing with each other and weren't necessarily friends, as so many people seem to think. N.Y. FED 'Pilgrim-presidents' Benjamin Strong 1914-1928 George Harrison 1928-1940 Allan Sproul 1941-1956 Alfred Hayes 1956-1975 Paul Volcker 1975-1979 Anthony Solomon 1980-1985 E. Gerald Corrigan 1985-1993 William J. McDonough 1993-2003 Timothy Geithner 2003-present Red = confirmed Pilgrim Pilgrim-presidents of the New York Federal Reserve Bank cover the period from 1914 to 1979. The 4 presidents since then have not been members as far as we know, although that's probably because of a lack of recent data. Pilgrim-chairmen of the New York Federal Reserve cover almost the entire period from the 1920s up to 1990, so we can safely assume that the New York Federal Reserve Bank is owned by the Pilgrims. That's not that unusual, because New York itself is Pilgrims property. Because the Pilgrims have a large influence on Washington politics, it would be interesting to see if they have any members on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, also located in D.C. If we have those names, we can estimate the Pilgrims' level of control over the Federal Open Market Committee. The FOMC is the main body of the Federal Reserve that decides on the monetary policy. The New York FED then carries out those directives through it's daily 'open market operations'. In the words of the official Federal Reserve website that I just gave a link to: "Finally, the Committee [FOMC] must reach a consensus regarding the appropriate course for policy, which is incorporated in a directive to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York?the Bank that executes transactions for the System Open Market Account. The directive is cast in terms designed to provide guidance to the Manager in the conduct of day-to-day open market operations. The directive sets forth the Committee's objectives for long-run growth of certain key monetary and credit aggregates. It also sets forth operating guidelines for the degree of ease or restraint to be sought in reserve conditions and expectations with regard to short-term rates of growth in the monetary aggregates." The FOMC consists of the 7 FED governors, 1 permanent New York FED president, and 4 presidents of the other 11 FED banks that rotate each year. The chairman of the board of governors is also the chairman of the FOMC, and the president of the permanently represented New York FED is the vice chairman of the FOMC. We quote from the same page: "...Traditionally, the Chairman of the Board of Governors is elected Chairman and the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York is elected Vice Chairman..." When sifting through the members list, it turns out that at least 4 of the 13 Federal Reserve chairmen are confirmed Pilgrims (they cover the years 1933-1934 & 1959-1987). Two other chairmen, Eugene Meyer and Alan Greenspan, have all the trademarks of being Pilgrims members. If that could be confirmed, the FED's Board of Governors has had Pilgrims as chairman from at least 1930 to 1934 & from 1959 on to 2005. In any case, the Pilgrims Society seems to be represented a disproportionate amount on the most influential places inside the U.S. monetary system, especially for a society that doesn't want it's existence to be known to the general public. It is likely that at least since 1959 the chairman and vice chairman of the FOMC were Pilgrims, together with the persons carrying out the directives of the FOMC through the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Morgan executives 17 Chase Bank executives 16 Skull & Bones 11 President World Bank 4 (of 10) After analyzing the Pilgrims Society members list of about 360 names (updated in the meantime), I found that the institutions you see on the left were the most often represented. About 75% of this list is American and 25% British (rough estimate). This means that about 1 in 3 of the U.S. members of the Pilgrims Society is a confirmed member of the CFR. Striking is the fact that such a large percentage of CFR members are executive officers. About 50% of all the CFR executive officers have been confirmed members of the Pilgrims Society, which seems to indicate that quite possibly all of them are. I remember looking at an old documentary about the CFR "master conspiracy". The usual stuff came by; banking, the Illuminati and the dollar bill. At the end they showed these concentric rings, indicating the CFR had unknown inner circles. Guess we can now say for sure what the second circle is, counting from the outside. It's the Pilgrims Society and it undeniably shows the close link between American and British foreign policy. Of course, it has long been speculated that the same group that set up the RIIA, set up the CFR, but I was never convinced enough though, because the group connecting both organizations has never been fully identified. The existence of the Round Table, however likely, has never been proven. For now, the Pilgrims Society, a seemingly larger body, is a fine substitute, because it shares many similarities with the "association of helpers" from the Round Table. Read this text from the 1966 book 'Tragedy and Hope - A history of the world in our time', written by Oxford professor Carroll Quigley: "In 1891, Rhodes organized a secret society with members in a "Circle of Initiates" and an outer circle known as the "Association of Helpers" later organized as the Round Table organization. In 1909-1913, they organized semi-secret groups know as Round Table Groups in the chief British dependencies and the United States.. The Round Table Groups were semi-secret discussion and lobbying groups whose original purpose was to federate the English speaking world along lines laid down by Cecil Rhodes. By 1915, Round Table groups existed in seven countries including England, South Africa, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India and the United States. Money for their activities originally came from Cecil Rhodes, J.P. Morgan, the Rockefeller and Whitney families and associates of bankers Lazard Brothers and Morgan, Grenfell and Company. The chief backbone of this organization grew up along the already existing financial cooperation running from the Morgan Bank in New York to a group of international financiers in London led by Lazard Brothers. Lionel Curtis established in England and each dominion a front organization to the existing local Round Table Group. This front organization called the Royal Institute of Public Affairs, had as its nucleus in each area the existing submerged Round Table Group. In New York, it was known as the Council on Foreign Relations and was a front for J.P. Morgan and Company in association with the very small American Round Table Group. The American organizers were dominated by the large number of Morgan "experts" including Lamont and Beer, who had gone to the Paris Peace Conference and there became close friends with the similar group of English "experts" which had been recruited by the Milner group. In fact, the original plans for the Royal Institute and the Council on Foreign Relations. In 1928, the Council on Foreign Relations was dominated by the associates of the Morgan bank. Closely allied with this Morgan influence were a small group of Wall Street lawyers whose chief figures were Elihu Root, John W. Davis, the Dulles Brothers, John J. McCloy... ...There does exist and has existed for a generation, an international Anglophile network which operates to some extent in the way the Radical Right believes the Communists act. In fact, this network, which we may identify as the Round Table Groups, has no aversion to cooperating with the Communists, or any other groups, and frequently does so... ...It might be pointed out that the existence of this Wall Street Anglo-American axis is quite obvious once it is pointed out. It is reflected by the fact that such Wall Street luminaries such as John W. Davis, Lewis Douglas, [John] Whitney and Douglas Dillon were appointed to be American ambassadors in London." If we forget about the other groups, the description of the U.S. and U.K. Round Table Groups as submerged nucleuses of respectively the CFR and the RIIA is the perfect description of the Pilgrims Society. Also, the only name of a person in the quote above, that is not represented in my incomplete Pilgrims members list, is Lionel Curtis. All the other names are confirmed Pilgrims. And what is said here about the large number of Morgan representatives is something I also immediately noticed when I was filling in all the biographies. Even though Rockefeller interests, especially in later times, were just as dominant, the history of the Morgan family really shows their ties to England through George Peabody and Junius S. Morgan. At the turn of the century, the Morgans wielded enormous power over the United States economy [1]. Besides the organizations I put in the table above, you will also find that institutions like the Atlantic Institute for International Affairs, Bilderberg, the Bohemian Grove, the Trilateral Commission, the Brookings Institution, the Ford Foundation, the Ditchley Foundations, the Fabian Society, the Japan Society, the Asia Society, the American-Australian Association, and some others, are quite frequently represented. I didn't specifically look for these institutions though, simply because it takes me too much time. Often, these institutes aren't mentioned in the bios of the person you're researching. The reason that you find quite a few Skull & Bones members (or members who have family in Skull & bones) in the Pilgrims Society is probably because Yale is located very close to the north of New York. Don't kid yourself however, 20 year old boys don't rule anything. You'll also find at least 5 Scroll & Key members and many more Yale students who haven't been into any society. But as far as I can see the Pilgrims Society is open to anyone who learns enough, works enough, and winds up in the right place for a Pilgrims invitation. Harvard and Columbia are other common universities where Pilgrims have studied. Involvement of the Pilgrims over the last 100 years 1906 - Pilgrims are involved in the secret Algeciras Conference to settle a dispute among the British, Germans, and French about the division of Morocco. 1913 - The earlier mentioned establishment of the Federal Reserve and of course the 1910 Jekyll Island meeting that preceded it. 1917 - Some Pilgrims are said to have been financing the Communist revolution of 1917. Most is known about the partners of Kuhn, Loeb & Co.; Pilgrims Jacob Schiff, Paul Warburg and Otto Kahn. 1919 - Many Pilgrims played an important role in the Versailles peace conferences following WWI. In all the history books I've seen, only the discussions of the 'big three', Woodrow Wilson, Lloyd George and Georges Clemenceau, are emphasized. I'm still looking for all the names involved, but I've already seen quite a few Pilgrims and suspected Pilgrims. In any case, Robert Cecil, chairman of the Supreme Economic Council of the Versailles Peace Treaty was a member. In the same year, he was the chairman of the committee that established the Royal Institute of International Affairs. 1924 - After the German economy was completely taken apart and they couldn't pay their imposed debts anymore, the Reparations Commission Committee of Experts was set up. President Coolidge appointed Pilgrim Charles G. Dawes as chairman. The committee comes up with the so called 'Dawes-plan'. 1927 - It is said that Pilgrim Benjamin Strong (head FED) and Pilgrim Montagu Norman (head Bank of England) had at least one secret meeting in July of this year with their friend Hjalmar Schacht of the German Reichsbank. 1930 - The Young plan, which is named after committee chairman and Pilgrim Owen D. Young, is introduced as a follow up of the Pilgrims concocted Dawes plan, because Germany still can't pay their debts. Hjalmar Schacht doesn't agree with the reparations and quits as the head of the German Reichsbank. The same year Schacht becomes a Fascist, starts bringing all the German industrialists together and becomes the most crucial person for bringing Hitler to power in 1933. 1933 and on - J.P. Morgan and Rockefeller associates are financing Nazi germany. Pilgrims Watson and Watson Jr. of IBM were also involved. Pilgrim Averell Harriman was involved. Ford was involved, and looking at the prominent presence of the Ford Foundation in the Pilgrims Society, he was probably a member also. 1934 - Because general Smedley Butler exposes the planned coup, FDR is not thrown over and replaced by a fascist government. The persons financing various fascist elements turn out to be the Pilgrims Morgan jr., the du Ponts, Louis S. Cates through Phelps-Dodge company, and undoubtedly many other, but unconfirmed, Pilgrims. 1945 - Nazis, Knights of Malta (SMOM), and elements in the OSS create the so called 'Vatican rat lines', through which thousands of Nazis are smuggled into Spain, South-Africa, and South-America. Pilgrim and SMOM member Allen Dulles played a large role in this project. He also plays a crucial role in releasing and recruiting Nazi intelligence chief Reinhard Gehlen (Le Cercle) so this person can establish the Gehlen Organization. This Gehlen Org becomes the eyes and ears of the CIA in eastern Europe. Reinhard recruits many serious nazis in his organization. 1946 - Pilgrim Francis Beverly Biddle was one of the four primary judges at the Nuremberg trials representing the United States. I'll bet the British judge (and president) of the trials was a member of the British Pilgrims. 1947 - Pilgrims Society member, five-star general and U.S. Secretary of State George C. Marshall introduces his European Recovery Program (ERP). around 1948 - Pilgrim John J. McCloy oversees the release of Fritz Thyssen, Hjalmar Schacht, Friedrich Flick and Alfred Krupp. They are the main industrialists who built up the Nazi war machine and are close associates of different Pilgrims Society members. 1949 - Pilgrims member and ambassador Lewis Williams Douglas had a daughter, Sharman Douglas, who, according to a very sure ITV (competitor of the BBC), had a 2-year lesbian affair with Queen Elizabeth II's younger sister, Princess Margaret Windsor. Sharman also married Andrew Hay of the Pilgrims. (Normally I wouldn't dive into tabloid topics, but this is just too funny to pass over) 1951 - General Douglas MacArthur, who has just driven back the North-Koreans, is removed from his command when he doesn't accept the decision from the US government to not attack the Chinese forces. Pilgrims Harry Truman, Dean Acheson and George C. Marshall are his main adversaries on this issue. MacArthur is replaced by Pilgrim Matthew B. Ridgway. Senator McCarthy attacks Truman, Acheson and Marshall for being in the communist camp. 1954 - Some of the earliest invites to the Bilderberg conference are Pilgrims Society members; David Rockefeller, George Ball, and Henry Heinz. 1961 - Howard Hughes, owner of Trans World Airlines, is charging Pilgrim Charles C. Tillinghast, Jr., the president of his company, with conspiring with others to take over the ownership the company. 1963 - Pilgrims John J. McCloy and Allen Dulles are members of the Warren Commission. Gerald Ford, a future honorary Pilgrim, is a third member. 1965-1973 - During the Vietnam war, Pilgrim Henry Kissinger is the chief US negotiator for the communist regimes. At the same time, Kissinger and many of his Pilgrims Society buddies were investing massive amounts of capital into the Soviet Union, even though this country continued to supply about 50% of North-Vietnams military arms. Of course, these were allowed to enter North-Vietnam almost unobstructed, because the US government was afraid for an escalation of the conflict if Haiphong harbor was closed off and bombed into oblivion. Pilgrims Society members controlled at least some of the institutions that had to check the goods that were imported into the USSR. 1973 - Pilgrim Edward W. Simon was chairman of the President's Oil Policy Committee from February to December of 1973 (oil crisis started in October in the midst of the Yom Kippur war). He also was an administrator of the Federal Energy Office since December 1973 and was charged with the responsibility of minimizing the effects of the energy crisis and preventing future crises (decided the oil prices and the distribution). Together with Pilgrim Henry Kissinger he was the most important speaker of the 1974 International Energy Conference. In 1973, Henry Kissinger first informed the Pilgrims about the creation of an "International Energy group", which became the International Energy Agency. 1975 - Pilgrim Nelson Rockefeller heads the ' U.S. President's Commission on CIA activities within the United States'. It was created in response to a December 1974 report in The New York Times that the CIA had conducted illegal domestic activities, including experiments on U.S. citizens, during the 1960s. The commission was, among other things, responsible for the investigation and publication of Project MKULTRA, a CIA mind control study. 1992 - Pilgrim Lord Bingham of Cornhill heads an inquiry into the Bank of England to find out their responsibility in the BCCI drug laundering scandal. Turns out the Bank of England was just a bit lazy, but didn't do anything on purpose. The persons that owned the BCCI were mainly 1001 Club members; Agha Hasan Abedi, Salem Bin Laden, and Kalid bin Mahfouz, possibly more. Lord Bingham became a member of the very elite Order of Garter in 2005. Some other persons involved with the BCCI scandal were members of the secret international intelligence group Le Cercle. 2001 - Henry Kissinger, who was picked as the first chairman of the 9/11 commission, was a Pilgrim. The old vice-chairman of the 9/11 Commission, George John Mitchell, became a director of the CFR in 1995, so chances are very substantial he's a Pilgrim too. The new chairman, Thomas H. Kean, is from a very prominent New Jersey family and has been a chairman of the Carnegie Foundation, so don't be surprised if it turns out that he also attends Pilgrims dinners (or 1001 Club meetings in his case). More rumors concerning 9/11 and likely Pilgrims exist, but as plausible as some of them sound, I won't go into them, simply because I don't trust the researchers this information came from. 2004 - Pilgrims Society member Lord Peter Inge is part of a five-member panel that looks into the gathered intelligence that was used to justify an invasion in Iraq the year before. All 5 are Privy Councillors and just as the panel's chairman, Lord Inge is a knight of the Order of the Garter. * As you can see, when we move into the eighties and nineties, information on the Pilgrims becomes quite scarce. Conclusion It is obvious that the Pilgrims Society has a very interesting history and that it's membership consists of very influential people. Above all, it seems that the Pilgrims Society represents that old dream of Cecil Rhodes to create a worldwide English-speaking free-trade zone (his exact words), with the dominant position for the Anglo-Saxon race. Rhodes had also been speculating about a network of secret societies that had to absorb the wealth of the world. In fact, the enormous fortune he left behind was probably used to set up the Pilgrims Society just 4 months after he died. But especially these days, 'free-trade' policies seem to be nothing more than a tool by which western companies wrestle control of foreign markets. This makes it hard to say if their ultimate goal of 'global peace' really is that noble. In the course the 20th century, especially after WWII, many organizations with similar objectives have sprung up worldwide. Among them are Bilderberg, the Trilateral Commission, the British Invisibles, the European Round Table, the Group of thirty, the European Institute, the Trans-Atlantic Business Dialogue, the 1001 Club, the EU-Japan Business Dialogue, the Pacific Basin Economic Council, Le Cercle, the Multinational Chairman's Group, and dozens more. In every single case, British and American interests are represented more than adequately, at the very least in leadership positions. Even though recent names are in rather short supply it has already become obvious that we can find most, if not all of these leaders back in the Pilgrims Society. This indicates that we are dealing with one of the most important privately funded institutions of the globalist movement. But, like I already said, let's not exaggerate by saying that we found 'the puppet masters' or something like that. At any time, there are loads of intelligence operations going on most of the well over a 1000 members know nothing about. Also, looking at the bios, it's obvious that there is considerable infighting going on and that different members can't get along with each other at all. So, as for now, I suggest that we focus our energy on gathering as many names as possible. Then the picture will become clear by itself.
