Rubbing alcohol is 30% water, it makes very poor stove fuel because it
has a low number of BTUs, and it must also evaporate the water in it.
Another point is a lot of alcohol stoves depend on the vaporization of
the alcohol. By using rubbing alcohol your really screw up the way these
stoves are designed to perform.
