Tacoma Tarp: msg#01313culture.backpacking.light
I carried one for 625 miles of the CA PCT this summer. It was a great shelter! Stood up to Sierra afternoon hail and rain storms just fine. Goes up fast - helpful when a storm comes over the top of the ridge unannounced. Mine has the mosquito netting doors and sides and kept the little critters outside - except for one mosquito-less night when I left the door open and awoke with 300 black flies inside.
