For that age group I would think Roy Robinson's Cat stove would be the 
best choice. It will be easy and fast to construct with little 
mechanical skill necessary. The hardest part will be cutting the hole in 
the center of the outer can. Try out the project and determine the way 
of making that hole that will be safe for that age group or make that 
hole yourself for all of the stoves.

Some search engines don't update links and have links to where my stove 
page was before @home went bankrupt and shut down their servers.  The 
number of pages containing modifications of my stove design further 
muddies the water. On Google my stove comes up as the 5 link. I am not 
sure what I can do to make it easier to find. I am open to suggestions 
from more web savvy folks.
