I plan on hiking the Georgia section of the AT in November.
My packweight with my current tent is 16.5 lbs without food and water. The pack 
was a golite speed which I am ditching. I am gonna pick up a ULA  P-2 so the 
will be a little more. 
I would give a gear list but I'm gonna shave her down a little more.

  I have a Tacoma, but as the sizes and options can vary I'd have to know more
  of what you're looking to do with it and where.  I enjoy mine in Michigan.
  Also, what sort of total packweight do you carry?
