I boiled water on the trail once and probably never will again. I was thirsty and waiting for the water to cool was a bummer. I have a another question. You said: I contacted Camelbak and MSR Corp this week, and both manufacturers claim their hyrdation products will withstand boiling-hot water (not boiling IN the bladder, but the addition of just-boiled water).
