Re: Lightweight-gear comparison page: msg#00050culture.backpacking.light
Thanks all for the positive feedback. You've given me the boot to the butt I needed to check all the 'main' links on that page. Wow, the web changes quite fast! SGT Rock: Updated your review links too, thanks for the heads up. You have an excellent site there at http://www.hikinghq.net/ I just discovered your review of the Hennessy A-Sys. - dspellman2002: It is a shame that Ray Jardine removed his 'Project' pages :-( I loved those pages. THe Stephenson info came from their web site, though I may have got it from a magazine. Took out the note about the GVP G4 pack plans being an older version. - vkdeal: I'll look into the Kifaru ParaTipi and ParaTarp later when I have the time. The Stephenson DAM is on the very expensive side and not very lightweight, though I've hrread that it is 'some comfy'. - Thanks for the good feedback also to dladigin, ratagonia, Bushwacker, Jerry G, Aaron (I've got stove links on my home page), Mike V, snowjoe11, and Philip M. - BikerDave (Nova Scotia) --- In BackpackingLight-F5Bj5G+ccuY@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "ulflier" <1066@xxxx> wrote: > I've just updated my web page that compares specifications > of most of the camping gear suitable for the ultra light > backpacker.
