Using it, I could get away for a 3- or 4-day trip on short notice and with very little preparation. I could actually stop at the grocery on the way to the trailhead. But I'm not clear on how you prepare the Ramen noodles. Do you crumple a bunch of those cheese-and-cracker or peanut-butter-and-cracker snacks in with the Ramen and water? Do you leave out the Ramen spice packets? Also, do you add powdered milk to the oatmeal, or does the instant oatmeal already have the milk in it? -- Ed |
