Thanks Scott. I wasn't real pleased with the way that one read
myself. I think this may be better (see below). All other edits
taken on board. Will upload tomorrow. I still got to weigh the
sucker.

Who Needs a Filter?
It is often impractical to take all the water that may be needed on
trips longer than a few miles or for several hours. Fortunatly,
where I normally hike, water is usually pretty abundant along the
way. Unfortunately, the water found in the woods and out of the way
places is often not fit to drink. There are many reasons for this
but this report will not delve into them. A filter can solve this
problem. It is not the only solution but it is one that makes sense
for a lot of situations.
