hello we never made it up theres as money was tight and we had 
emergency issues going on here. im not sure about the mum part she 
leaves out a lot of the vowels. and we do clean up misspellings too. 
which enrages her when we dont get it right. so she adds more vowels 
on nows as she gets impatient with us if we dont get it right off. so 
mom or mum could easily have been just mm.  also she tends to pick 
same sounding consonants depending on where she is closest to on the 
letterboard. c.k.qu. she has phonological spelling too. like she may 
state 'fc' now afters we coreccted her. but she spelled it 
once 'fsees'. whats strange is that she was reported to have auditory 
processing prblems. so go figure. we do have my nephews who insists 
on making up his own variations of words and phrases and if we dont 
have reason enough why he shouldn't. (we dont) we just let him. so he 
call them 'f sees' and 'f seeing'because n. tried to correct him and 
wrote fc. in which he became distressed until she agreed it was f see 
communications.  N. once quipped."hey is it facilitated seeing? and 
he clapped his hands. so thats on his folder. f see communications.  

we rotate communications so i wasnt actually the one who fsee'd with 
her on this communication. that was with N. our student teacher from 
Nova University.

by the way kids are having a blast with bens communications. my one 
neice doesnt talk but sings and she sings out some phrases. it gets 
all disconcerted though.
