Custom Fields - Deleting/Changing and No "Specific Value" Option: msg#00000crm.lcm.devel
Hi, Thanks so much for such a great open source program. I work for a small non-profit in Oakland, CA. The program would work perfectly for us, with one hitch. We need to be able to add a number of custom fields, both with drop-down selections and text boxes, and I've had two problems that I can't quite figure out. First, when creating a custom field, although I can select "yes" for the "specific value" option, after I click "validate" and go back to check on the field, "specific value" is always set to "no"; in short, I can't set the "specific value" to "yes". Second, I can't figure out anyway to delete custom fields that I have messed up on. Similarly, although I can change the "title" and "description" of a custom field that I've created, I can't change a custom field from "case" to "client" -- i.e. I can select "client" and hit "validate" to try to change the field, but when I go back to check on the field, it's back to whatever I selected originally (e.g. "case"). Finally, just a quick question, is it possible to rearrange the order of the default and custom fields? Thanks so so much again for the program and any help, I really appreciate it.
