The translation has been added only yesterday, so don't say 'use the
scroll-bar' because that translation has not been there forever! Dear Grossi, it is your style always to adapt the truth to your needs. Please avoid treating those that read your messages like complete
idiots. I feel offended by your words and do not want to discuss with
you further: you have called me a liar on the
community-Fl7Cyzp9CihnMmKbsbYxQl6hYfS7NtTn@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, you have accused
me of falsities and have
repeatedly tried to confuse Stallman, starting with what you
represent.

E' vero questo? No, è FALSO.

Grossi:

Stallman:

Grossi:

Maffulli:
Dear Grossi, who has elected you as a representative of this supposed
community of Creative Commons? Is that the obscene amount of mail
messages that you are capable of sending to the lists hosted
@creativecommons.it? Besides, you didn't answer the question: How
exactly are you related to Larry Lessig's organization called Creative
Commons?
For me, there is no need to discuss further: I have made my opinion on
'scarichiamoli' and it is negative, for now. I suggest that you stop
contacting people in private to ask support for 'scarichiamoli' and
start doing this in public (as the Italian public lead also suggested)
so that the process is more clear.

stef

it is hard to tell if opencontents.org has misrepresented the views of
Grossi. He has expressed his views in many ways and always confused, at
least for me: he writes too much to be readable for those like me that
receive hundreds of email messages all to be read and answered.
One of the reasons why I am not supporting the initiative is that it is
absolutely not clear to me its goals and the strategic path to achieve
them. It is not in the style of FSFE to follow any good intent proposed
by anybody if it doesn't have a clear strategy. So, even if I can agree
to the basic idea that works financed by public money should be
available to public, I cannot agree to 'scarichiamoli' because I cannot
understand what it is. These feelings are shared by others in Italy.
I have re-read the page
http://www.creativecommons.it/main.php?page=scarichiamoli in Italian and
in English and there is one part that IMHO FSF cannot agree to: "the
proposed change to the 11th section of the Italian law on copyright"
because it basically advocates for *public domain* for any intellectual
work financed by public funds ("need to be perpetually [12] exempt from
exclusive commercialization rights[...] but need also to be publicly
accessible and usable (downloadable)". This concept to me seems against
the principles advocated by FSF or at least needs more discussion. But,
as stated before, it is almost impossible to discuss on any
creativecommons.it mailing list.
In the end, FSFE is waiting for the proposal to be more clear and that
it becomes a project of the Italian branch of Creative Commons
Corporation, to discuss it with all needed calm.

Bon soire. :)

Saluti, Nicola.
