resources for writing non-hibernate/spring/jsf tools and for integrating ex: msg#00746cms.sakai.devel
Good Morning, All: I am wondering if there is a gap in documenting an important portion of our community (or perhaps it's just a gap in my search skills or search patience!), and so would like to get a sense of what resources -- documentation and people -- our community has to support writing non-hibernate/spring/jsf java-based Sakai tools or for integrating existing java-based applications into Sakai. If possible, I would prefer to keep portlets and web services out of this discussion for now.... If this works out, I will try to capture this info into Confluence in an appropriate spot; I would appreciate any advice for naming/placement at that time. I know there's a lot of contrib/provisional/upcoming work out there, so I've just grabbed the first three that came to mind (in no order): INSTITUTION -- TECHNOLOGY -- TOOL # Unisa -- writing Sakai tools in struts -- 18 tools?? # Stanford/? -- writing Sakai tools in struts shale (i.e. struts/jsf) -- Samigo # Foothills -- integrating non-Sakai jsf-based apps into Sakai -- JForum And on the documentation side: DOCUMENTS # Glenn's "Sakai Tools" document: http://collab.sakaiproject.org/access/content/group/1097928811887-22636/Architecture%20Docs/Sakai%202/sakai_tool.pdf Thanks, Brian (currently working with UWinnipeg) ---------------------- This automatic notification message was sent by Sakai Collab (http://collab.sakaiproject.org/portal) from the DG: Development site.
