Hello,
I'm still having trouble trying to figure out how to control when
slashSess variables are inserted into the URL.. It seems quite
arbitrary to me. Sometimes a site I've installed Back-End on will pop
up with slashSession variables and other times it won't.. Occasionally
they will be there when I first browse to a site, but not after I login.
I'm a bit frustrated now as I was trying to get htdig to index:
http://www.learningpartnership.org/
Should be no problem, except that htdig is viewing the page with
slashSess variables in the URL and in watching the indexing process, it
seems that htdig is loosing the slashSession variable from time to time,
so has re-indexed the site a few times I think.
slashSession pops up when it can't store a cookie, right? I guess that
would make sense with search engines, but for security reasons it should
be very, very rare that I'd see the session variable anywhere (certainly
htdig shouldn't be indexing it)..
Any ideas on how to set up a PSL type site so it is consistently without
slashSession variables? Or have we messed up something in Back-End
somewhere down the line?
Mike
