Here is a list of very incosistent things I have found so far...
(just so I don't forget them)
Blocks:
a. page public slashHead-htmlarea3. There is no such file for e/a theme.
Another way to include the javascript code found here should be found so
that one can include a simple line in slashHead that points to this needed
inclussions.
b. page-admin skin basic. This is wrong. the skin should be left alone.
Especially since skins inherit from a parent. all skins should inherit from
"basic" or allow multiple inheritance as discussed before. Either by: 1.
allowing multiple lines in skin.ini or 2. that a skin inherit from a parent
and the parent of that, etc..., recursively.
For example:
skin.ini
skin.parent="clean"
skin.parent...
skin.parent...
skin.parent="basic"
So that files are looked for in a top-to-bottom fashion wherever is found
and ultimately use "basic" if not found.
c. topicphpslash.gif in template files. This and the phpslash logo should be
rename to generic strings like "site-logo.gif" "site-logo-small.gif". That
way people would just have to rename their logos with this generic names
without having to find/replace strings in all skin templates.
I will post more of these as soon as I find more... still digging why I'm
getting the login screen to recur so many times before accepting my
login/password as valid (100% sure I'm typing the right thing e/a time). And
why when using certain languages one gets to see titles like: Page - admin -
module, Page - public - nav - top, etc..., in e/a section of the page.
Talk about frustration.
