Choosing A Webhost:
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Web hosts are companies that provide space on a server they own for use by their clients as well as providing Internet connectivity, typically in a data center. Web hosts can also provide data center space and connectivity to the Internet for servers they do not own to be located in their data center, called colocation. more...

Yes, thanks. But I didn't (and still don't) know what is WOHttpAllowHost
supposed to do. It doesn't seem to be a XMLRPC thing, right?
But I reply to the XML-RPC list now.

Its the same for all SOPE based daemons.

Are you accessing the XML-RPC daemon via mgobjweb? If no, do so.
I don't know. What is mgobjweb? (google gives only your mail :-))
I'm talking to ogo-xmlrpcd, which comes with the RPM release.

Its the Apache module which forwards the requests from the client to the actual backend server (ogo-xmlrpcd in this case).
You can find plenty of information on it in Google (mod_ngobjweb).

Its configured in Apache.

I assume you are sending basic credentials in your request?
I've a LDAP server connected to OGo. I thought that's also working for
the xmlrpcd and not only for the webinterface?

Yes, it does.

What do you mean by basic credentials? I'm sending a username/ password combi.

Well, the HTTP credentials used to authenticate against the XML-RPC server. If you get a HTTP 401 reply you have an issue here, but first you need to connect using Apache ;-)

And how should one change the value with " Defaults write NSGlobalDomain
WOHttpAllowHost" for multi valued variables?
I still have to restore the original values...

Defaults delete NSGlobalDomain WOHttpAllowHost
