Obviously your client emits incorrect XML-RPC messages.

Instead of emitting "122345" for the document-id, it seems to emit "Frontier::RPC2::String=SCALAR(0x8286e44)".

I suppose this is Perl? If so, you might check with FR whether he can help you ...
