Choosing A Webhost:
A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to provide their own website accessible via the World Wide Web. Don't be afraid to post bug reports in Bugzilla. Bugzilla is a great resource for research on problems. If this indeed turns out to be a client side problem, we close it as such and the fact will be kept recorded.

Occasionally an XML-RPC request fails with a "Receive Failure". But a request
issued immediately before or after returns success.

Hm, could that be a timeout? Are you connecting through Apache or directly? Are you using Mono or M$ .NET?

So far I've only seen this
in my .NET stuff (using CookComputing's XML-RPC stack). When a failure occurs
I don't see anything in the apache logs or the ogo logs which makes me pretty
certain this is a client side bug.

Feel free to create a bugreport and attach a tgz containing a small code section which reproduces the issue. Maybe someone finds the time to try to reproduce it and give more information.

Greets,
Helge
