Might be a bug, need to look.

Can you please open a bug report on the issue in Bugzilla and attach:
- a Python example showing the problem
- the output of the example when being run
- the output of the xmlrpcd when the example is run

Best way to put it on the work-queue is submitting a bug in Bugzilla ;-)
