you can find the site publishing log file in server @ c:\Documentum\product\<version of your server>\webcache\temp\
 
check for the log file in that folder after you try end to end test or publish
the most recently created log file will be the log file for your operation.
 
if you have many files then you can delete all those files and then try to perform the same operation.
 
post the error in the log file, then i can help u
