Publishing error

Hi,

I get the following error when I do an end-to-end testing
"The status returned for the Site Publishing Configuration Publish is that the publish did not succeed. It may be that the Publish succeeded but the HTTP request may have timed out which returns an incorrect status. Please check the log for failure report.
The log for current publish was not found"

Can somebody tell me the reason?
