MYSQL date format

        I am trying to display mmmm, mm, dd, yyyy

using a timestamp from a MYSQL db

I can get the day of the week to appear in words (but it is the 
wrong day), and the rest of the values show up as 66535, 66535, 
66535.

huh?

any clue how to format this? I've tried every configuration in 
WACK and the MYSQL book.
