+ When using "Day View" in a calendar view for a date in the future (or, I 
+ suppose, a day in the past), clicking the "New Event" button creates an event 
+ which defaults to today's date, instead of the date being viewed.

+ Admittedly, clicking on a time produces a new event on the correct day, 
albeit 
+ using the time clicked as the *END* time instead of the *START* time.
