  ig, are there tags for the released versions in CVS? i'm looking at http://cedar-solutions.com/JSPWiki/Wiki.j sp?page=CVSBuildPackage to check out, if this could be used to automate the versioning stuff. allso i think this is needed to get a package into debian stable some day. (which would also mean, that security/bugfixes _have_ to be backported into that fork/taged version)
