yes you're right. You have to create the cocoon-bluexml.xconf file in
WEB-INF/xconf with the following content :

In fact, in the last developements, I use entities to factorize code.
You have to undeclare entities initial configuration in the
blocks/cocoon-core.xconf and declare in block/cocoon-bluexml.xconf :
<entity-resolver logger="core.resolver">
<parameter name="catalog"
value="WEB-INF/entities/catalog"/>
<parameter name="local-catalog"
value="/opt/programs/IBM/workspace/bluexml/cms/src/blocks/core/common/webapp/entities/catalog"/>

Don't forget to adapt your path...
