If your OS doesn't have /usr/local/lib in the default library path, you can either add it (Linux uses /etc/ld.so.conf) or use LD_RUN_PATH and rebuild torque. $ make clean $ export LD_RUN_PATH=/usr/local/lib $ make $ su -c "make install"
