Last March, I signed a contract on behalf of the group to sell the
2007 edition of the Greater Seattle/Eastside Entertainment Books
before the group merged with the Northwest Jewish Singles Group. In
August before I went down to San Francisco to take care of my
parents, I received several boxes of books.
Since I would prefer not to return them, I will be offering them to
former LOF members at our cost ($24.00) until Monday, October 16th.
You must pick them up from me by replying to bb822-ZRXZ6UJy+00@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
(if you
hit reply, make sure you subsitute the lox-of-friends-owner address
in the to: field in your email with my email address instead) or by
calling me at (206) 789-8328 to arrange pick up at 6561 Phinney Ave
N #217, Seattle, WA 98103-5255.
If you can't come by, I can mail them for $30.00 via USPS Priority
Mail with delivery confirmation but no insurance. I take PayPal. If
you want to get five or more, I might be able to deliver them
depending on where you are located.
If you aren't familar with the book, here is information about it
including a list of the 170 fine dining restaurants in the 2007 book.
This year's Greater Seattle and Eastside Entertainment Book has a
total of 550 restaurants including 108 new casual dining offers and
170 fine dining establishments (32 are new to this year's edition),
176 shopping & services, and 178 sports, attractions, movie tickets,
and hotel discounts. After you register your book with my group's
ID, you will also get access to exclusive members-only online deals
and printable coupons.
The way the book works is you buy one meal or item and get the
second entree or item free or in some cases, up to 50% off the total
bill which is great when dining alone. You can also get 20% off at
select restaurants by presenting your card. It is a wonderful way to
try out a new place or an establishment's appetizers and/or salads,
which is nice for those of us who are trying to control our weight.
You pay the tax on the paid meal.
You can also check to see if what is available in your Puget Sound
neighborhood by going to http://www.entertainment.com/ and inputting
your zip code or Seattle, WA and then browse the site and see which
of your favorite places or places that you have wanted to try out
are listed. Coupons expire on November 1, 2007.
You can also use monthly coupons for local services such as $5.00
off a $50 purchase at Safeway, Red Apple or Top Foods, which more or
less pays for itself in a year or use individual coupons such as a
50% off the price of a Victoria Clipper ticket (worth about $100),
2for1 dining at the Pabla Indian Cuisine (kosher) and other Indian
restaurants, McCormicks & Schmicks "chain", Vince's Italian
Restaurant, a number of Thai, Asian and Pho restaurants in the area
such as the Chinoise Café, Thai Siam, and Raga, and a variety of
other places such as the Pan Africa (Ethiopian) Cafe, Kabab Palace,
Caspian (Persian) Grill, Mama's Mexican Kitchen, Chutney's, and
Willie's Taste of Soul BBQ to name a few.
