I did try the steps in the FAQ, but my limited knowledge of CAD programs did
not make the "explode" concept direct interpretable. I was looking for a
function that would do an explode step, since I realized that the raw line
segments would be enough. Fortunately I stumbled onto the solution a few days
ago.
