Trim property-lines

Hi,

I'm new on this mail-list and I'm sorry for my bad english.

I use QCAD 2.1.0.0 on WinXP.

My problem is as follows:

I got an official site plan of our property. I actually try to trim
some of the property-lines. There are at least three different
property-lines one superimposed on the other and each on a differt
layer. I didn't fit to trim at least one of these lines. What am I
doing wrong?
