batching filtered lists: msg#00284bug-tracking.roundup.user
hi there, the documentation explains how to use batches. The first argument has to be a sequence of HTMLItems, and the most straightforward way to generate that using TAL is 'db/issue/list'. When using such a list inside a 'tal:repeat' block, I can apply my own filters item-wise to select the desired items. But how can I apply a filter to the whole sequence to produce a new sequence that I then can pass to utils.Batch ?
