I'm using:

Trustix Secure Linux release 1.5 (MiddleWhere)
Kernel 2.2.19-5trsmp on an i586
Python 2.1.3 (#1, Oct 17 2002, 12:59:57)
[GCC 2.95.3 20010315 (release)] on linux2

I cant determine the bsddb version...

Type "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import bsddb
>>> dir(bsddb)
['__doc__', '__file__', '__name__', 'btopen', 'error', 'hashopen', 'rnopen']
>>> bsddb.__version__
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
AttributeError: 'bsddb' module has no attribute '__version__'


I'll look further.
