Re: Javascript and Mantis: msg#00087bug-tracking.mantis.devel
I've always noticed that there are people who are hard core about never using Javascript. I wonder how are these people feeling with the move to Web 2.0. Do all these web 2.0 websites have graceful degradation? I personally have always tried to have Mantis always work with/without Javascript enabled. There are two knobs in Mantis, a per installation knob and whether the current user browser settings having javascript enabled or not. I know we deal with the first one pretty well and I hope we are doing the same with the second. As for projax, prototype, etc - we are currently using them in one scenario. I think it is the auto-complete scenario for profile fields. Issue #8382 in the bug tracker suggests that we use MooTools instead of prototype. I haven't investigated this. Feedback is welcome.
