Subject: RE: [Bug-gnubg] Problems running GnuBG under Vista 32 bit

Thanks.
Actually, it seems that the game plays pretty much OK when I switch to 2D. I
still have no sound (the only sound I get is the "fanfare" when gnubg starts
- then, it is silence) - strange thing about sound though is that if I go to
"Settings/Options/Sound" and select a move then click "Play Sound", it does
not play, but if I go to the path where sounds are (D:\Program
Files\gnubg\sounds\) and double-click on a sound file, windows media player
opens and plays the sound OK!.
Thanks for your help and have a good vacation.
Diogo

Do you use the 3D board? If so, try switching to 2D (Settings /
Appearance / General : 2d board)

And IF your problem is solved... I'll give you an answer next week
(vacation now)
