By default GnuBG computes luck at 0 ply. It can be overridden by using the commands below. if you turn on the command window with "View" Menu/"Panels>" and make sure "Command" is selected, a "Command" prompt should appear in the lower right of the GnuBG window. From there you can change the plies with: set analysis luckanalysis plies <plies> So set analysis luckanalysis plies 2 Would set ply level to 2 for luck analysis. Other analysis options can be changed. If you issue this command: help set analysis luckanalysis You will see you can set these other options: Cubeful Deterministic Noise Plies Prune GnuBG computes luck at 0 ply be default because of the significant time higher plies (for luck) can add to an analysis. _______________________________________________ Bug-gnubg mailing list Bug-gnubg@xxxxxxx http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bug-gnubg
