Using GNUBg ID

Hi there.

I am managing BBS for backgammon.
I use backgammon board image everyday in my BBS.
Usually, I make Backgammon board image(HTML) by hand, but it is not
work for human :-)

Now I challenge make program that is GNUBg ID translate to board image(HTML).

GNUBg ID sample is looks like "g9vBASSYZ8wBBg:cIkmAQAAAAAA" on the top
in GNU backgammon.

This is at work.

I have questions.
I check GNUBg ID is correct or not only how many letters.
( Position ID + ":" + Match ID is 27 letters )

Do you have another idea ?

I think match ID have some bit that is not use, so it use check digit is fine.

And
I have arbitrary request.
